El Paisano is a hidden gem in Johnston. It's an authentic Guatemalan restaurant & bar with a bakery next door. We stopped in around brunch time, so we ordered the huevos rancheros which came with eggs, steak, plantains, and refried black beans. We also ordered a chicken burrito, which was filled with rice, beans, and melted cheese, and came with an avocado side salad. This Spot is definitely a reminder of my roots. I am Honduran and finding good Central American food can be difficult when you've had it in the native country! El Paisano is like eating the food back home! I come here at least every other week with my grandmother to have authentic Central American food! This place won't disappoint from the Soups to the Steak and Fish... mmmhhhh. Thank me later!!!
