I had heard whispers of its tapas-style cuisine, promising portions that were not overwhelming but perfectly suited for a satisfying meal. To be honest this is what attracted me to this forbidden experience. The path to the restaurant was uneventful, save for a minor hiccup in the reservation mistake made from someone in our group, swiftly resolved by the gracious hosts. As we entered, our eyes were drawn to the shining sign bearing the restaurant's name, a beacon of Latin flavor in their midst of Cranston, RI. Seated amidst the cozy ambiance, our gazes wandered to the far end of the room, where two familiar faces awaited. Like royalty perched atop Machu Picchu, two coworkers exuded an aura of grandeur, setting the stage for an evening of culinary delights, like a true Quoya and Sapa Inca. As the only Hispanic among them, I found myself bombarded with questions about the menu, each inquiry met with amusement and patience. Our waitress, Regan, a spirited soul from the distant land of Pennsylvania , greeted us with warmth and guided us through the gastronomic journey ahead. With tantalizing ceviches that danced upon our palates and entrees like Lomo Saltado that delighted our senses, the evening unfolded like a symphony of flavors. The kitchen became a stage, alive with the rhythm of knives and the crackle of flames, offering a spectacle to accompany our meal. And then came the pièce de résistance – a chocolate dessert crafted by the talented hands of Grace, a burgeoning pastry chef with dreams as lofty as the mountains themselves. This decadent creation stole the show, leaving our taste buds singing with delight. As the night wore on, conversation flowed like the sacred rivers of the Andes, fueled by sips of margaritas that struck the perfect balance between strength and subtlety. And amidst the laughter and camaraderie, amidst the flavors and aromas that filled the air, we found ourselves transported to a realm where time seemed to stand still, where every moment was savored like the finest delicacy. As if by happenstance, our time at Ceviche Divino felt like bidding farewell to an era. With the clocks set to turn one hour ahead from here on, today felt like a poignant goodbye!I had a blast at this joint, seriously! I'd totally recommend it. The portions aren't ginormous, which is exactly what I was after. I mean, between you and me, I've been to more business meetings than I can count, and I'm all for less food if it means fewer food comas in the boardroom, am I right?”
“Iannucilli Restaurant is absolutely fantastic! My meal was amazing and I'm not joking. I was apprehensive about getting the veal chop Parmigiana, but I'm telling you it's the best thing on the menu. We were a party of 4 at 730pm Saturday night. There was a chicken special, gnocchi, linguine and clams(white clam sauce) and my veal parm with capellini. My dinner was absolutely the best on the table. While the other meals looked great the linguine and clams was a bit dry- while at the other table right next to us, there was an vat of white clam sauce dripping over the side of the plate.I'm basing my review of Iannucilli on my meal only. Get this meal. You won't be disappointed. In fact our appetizer- cannellini beans, broccoli rabe and sausage was awesome too- but I think there could've been a little sauce to accompany this. I'd go so far as saying that I'd order that as an entree if it had 2x the beans, sausage and rabe. <-Nicky that should be an entree, the app was delicious!Our desserts were great too but I asked for an afogato- espresso with vanilla gelato. Simply put it was the best ending to a great meal.”

“Food was amazing. Time was quick, got our food within 10 minutes. Owner was one of the nicest men I have ever met, maybe even the nicest. We ordered a small calzone, and he gave us a medium with no extra charge! We got one cheese pie, and one Royal Steak Calzone. The food came out steaming. Cheese had a nice pull, and the flavor and crispiness were on another level. The presentation was also really good, being served on an elevated spinning plate. Overall 10/10 stars, if I could put more I would.”

The roll: a crisp crust with a pillowy interior. The meat: delicious Italian flavors layered generously inside the roll. The cheese: creamy. The veges: fresh and crisp. So yum, yum, yummy. “This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I had two types of party strips and a pepperoni pizza. The white stripes were good, kind of a pesto type taste to them. The red strips were very good, I really enjoyed the crust with a bit of crunch to it. The pizza itself was excellent. A very nice crust, great sauce, and a nice sauce to cheese ratio. The owner came out to talk to me, and he was a really nice guy also. On a scale from 0-10, I would rate this 9.1.”

I had an espresso martini which was delicious. They had a great selection of wine and the bartender found one my wife really enjoyed. The food was great, I had a chicken caesar salad and the Mrs had a wrap that I did not try but she thought it had great taste and was very fresh. Would love to come back and try more food soon. Definitely found this to be a great place for a night out.”

“A hidden gem! Twin Oaks offers what many restaurants no longer do. The minute you walk in, you are met by a well-dressed, friendly host. The wait for seating is never too long, as they have plenty of it. The waitstaff is also dressed quite professional, allowing the atmosphere to be as fancy or as laid back as you need it to be. The menu has much to choose from, and anything I've ever ordered from here has been delicious. The portions are quite big, and they even offer half orders of many items. I recently got a steak that was cooked to perfection. The side offerings are always delicious, and they even had beets, which my husband and daughter both happen to love. My sons got half orders. One had the chicken parm, and the other had the spaghetti and meatball. They were both delicious, and they still had leftovers! For all of this, including wonderful service, the prices are still very reasonable. This place, nestled in a quiet neighborhood, brings me back to when restaurants were run by families for families, and dining out was made to feel like a special occasion. Twin Oaks is a dying breed, and I hope they never change!”

Well, seeing that it still exists about 3 years later, I was convinced there is something special about it so this time, I headed in.Chennai Express is hands down, the best Indian restaurant in RI. Step into the small spot for ordering to-go or dining in, and your nose will be treated to the fragrant, mouthwatering aroma of dishes being prepared in the kitchen. I walked in and sat down on an empty table to peruse the menu for a to-go order. It was a challenge picking which dish to order as the menu presented a host of delicious options--from the more popular Indian dishes, to very authentic sounding appetizers and entrees. I wanted them all. Ultimately, I decided on Shrimp Biryani, Butter Chicken, and Nellore Fish Curry. These did not disappoint at all. The rice and chicken were not dry and the sauce were so flavorful.While waiting for my order, I have witnessed how busy Chennai is for take out. There's a quick cycle of pick up orders on the counter. A small group sat occupied two of the four 4-seater tables. I cannot help but look at their orders, taking note of the dishes for my next visit (yes, I was already planning coming back even before getting my order).Tip: Bring some cash so you avoid paying a surcharge. They take Venmo, too.I get home and excitedly open my package...mmm...worth the wait. Chennai Express is the real deal.”

“I dined here with my 91 year old mom for the Leap Day lobster special. Given the crowd, this was clearly a very popular event, but the vibe was energetic and upbeat without being annoyingly loud. Couples, groups of friends and families with their kids, all seemed to be having a great evening. Jaelin was our server and did a fabulous job throughout the evening. She was friendly and professional and never got rattled in spite of the fact she was waiting on multiple tables simultaneously. I observed that she was patient with all customers; answering questions and making recommendations, all with a high degree of efficiency. The lobsters were delicious; a nice mid winter treat at a very good value. We ordered a side of fries and an excellent wedge salad to share. A couple of cocktails and we headed for home very satisfied. Thanks to all of the staff who were really focused on service excellence!”

“Boba Lova RI is a wonderful! I am a big fan of bubble tea, and was very pleased with all the options they had for boba and also for other teas as well. I had the Thai iced tea with golden boba (delicious) and ordered a white peach green tea with no ice to save for the next day. It was absolutely delicious the next day, but this drink is very sweet - perfect for me but if you aren’t as big a fan of sweet drinks I’d choose something else. Very light and refreshing! I was intrigued by their mochi donuts because I’d never had them before and I was blown away at how delicious they are! Flavors rotate, but I was able to try a few of them and then went back to purchase four more to take home. I put them in Tupperware overnight and they were just as delicious the next day. Very fresh and airy, and the flavors are amazing! The service was also phenomenal. I wasn’t sure what to order and a lot of questions based on my flavor preferences and both Kayley and Soknin (the owner) were so helpful and kind. I felt like they were old friends and we could have chatted for hours. There’s also a nice big parking lot, and plenty of seats inside to sit and relax. Check out this spot and you won’t be disappointed!”

“A hidden gem! Twin Oaks offers what many restaurants no longer do. The minute you walk in, you are met by a well-dressed, friendly host. The wait for seating is never too long, as they have plenty of it. The waitstaff is also dressed quite professional, allowing the atmosphere to be as fancy or as laid back as you need it to be. The menu has much to choose from, and anything I've ever ordered from here has been delicious. The portions are quite big, and they even offer half orders of many items. I recently got a steak that was cooked to perfection. The side offerings are always delicious, and they even had beets, which my husband and daughter both happen to love. My sons got half orders. One had the chicken parm, and the other had the spaghetti and meatball. They were both delicious, and they still had leftovers! For all of this, including wonderful service, the prices are still very reasonable. This place, nestled in a quiet neighborhood, brings me back to when restaurants were run by families for families, and dining out was made to feel like a special occasion. Twin Oaks is a dying breed, and I hope they never change!”

Sliced thick, little fat and grilled. High point of the meal! The pancake was large but a little heavy. “I dined here with my 91 year old mom for the Leap Day lobster special. Given the crowd, this was clearly a very popular event, but the vibe was energetic and upbeat without being annoyingly loud. Couples, groups of friends and families with their kids, all seemed to be having a great evening. Jaelin was our server and did a fabulous job throughout the evening. She was friendly and professional and never got rattled in spite of the fact she was waiting on multiple tables simultaneously. I observed that she was patient with all customers; answering questions and making recommendations, all with a high degree of efficiency. The lobsters were delicious; a nice mid winter treat at a very good value. We ordered a side of fries and an excellent wedge salad to share. A couple of cocktails and we headed for home very satisfied. Thanks to all of the staff who were really focused on service excellence!”

The customer service was great as well. The male manager there is awesome but I felt really bad for him because he works nonstop. There was a rush and he was the only one there. They made us wait like 30 minutes and each time they either messed up our order or they forgot to make something. Haven't tried the deli. The workers are nice but one or two of them you can tell don't wanna be there. It was really cute and offered indoor or outdoor seating but not a lot of room. I would come again for brunch or something but not my go to place.”

“We hired Ralph's as our caterer for our wedding on June 11, 2022 and we're SO glad that we did! Our entire experience with them was incredible, from start to finish. We hired them back in 2020 and we ended up having to postpone our wedding a full year. We were worried about our vendors being on board with the move, but Ralph's made it painless! They were very supportive of our decision and quickly were on board to cater for our wedding on the new date. Mia was easy to communicate with and always quickly & kindly responded to our many questions!! Our guests raved about the cheese board and appetizers at our cocktail hour-- several of my bridesmaids had the job of feeding me crab cakes all night! And because my husband and I missed cocktail hour, Ralph's made sure to put a tray of appetizers on our table at the reception. Dinner was AMAZING. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and food service was quick (which was great because our reception started late, so Ralph's saved us time too!!) Mia made a point of speaking with me at the reception, and made sure I was eating and enjoying the food. Not to mention that Ralph's brought the linens to the venue the night before because our coordinator wanted to set up early. Basically, you can't go wrong with Ralph's. Their professionalism is unmatched, they care about their couples and their wedding guests, and the food is plentiful & yummy. I can't say enough good things about them. Cheese had a nice pull, and the flavor and crispiness were on another level. The presentation was also really good, being served on an elevated spinning plate.
