“A very pleasant surprise find after a tulip picking outing in Exeter. The food was nuanced and flavourful. We had the shaved veg salad and pork nachos for appetizers. Tasty dressings and great variety of textures and flavors. The Thai style fried rice was beautifully seasoned. You knew from the mound of perfectly crispy fried basil on top that the chef cared about serving delicious food that hits all the right notes. The texture of the beef rib was soft and juicy. The black bean burger was good and the fish and chips were huge and well cooked. The key lime pie and lava cake were not overly sweet and flavorful. Prices were a bit higher than I expected for being outside a city but you could easily pay the same prices for mediocre or worse food in Boston or Providence. Additionally, we loved all the Jamaican music. Great random find!“

“My whole family and I absolutely love Rasa. Hands-down the best Indian food in Rhode Island! The food, service, and overall experience is always exceptional. We eat here at least once a week. My favorite meal is the chicken tikka masala and I ask for medium hot spice, which gives just the right amount of kick without overpowering the wonderful seasonings and flavors of this dish. I add a nice garlic naan and I'm full for hours. If you have never been, I cannot recommend enough! “

“We came with a very big group and they were able to accommodate. The food was delicious and authentic. The chicken kabobs were delicious, the chefs lamb biryani was delicious also. My wife and children enjoyed garlic and coconut date Nan along with mango smoothies!“

“I've only been to Island Deli twice; however, both visits my sandwiches were filling and delicious. My go-to sandwich is a cuban and Island Deli makes a tasty one. They also sell sides and locally made sodas from Empire. Plenty of seating inside and friendly service.“

“This was our first visit and we went for "brunch" with 4 people. Made reservations before arrival and showed up early and was still able to be seated. Seating is a bit small area but still very comfortable and great atmosphere. The menu was small but in my opinion had options for everyone and was unique to the area. We each ordered something different and all of us loved the food and left full and not overstuffed. The adult milkshake and the Pomosa are amazing! The staff were very friendly. I even left my prescription sunglasses behind and they held for me. We will definitely be back.“

“We arrived a half hour early and found one seat at the bar and had a cocktail. We had a lovely conversation with a couple there, and two seat opened at the bar so we decided to have dinner there. Both hardeners were excellent! Victoria was knowledgeable of the menu and specials and steered us to three of the most delicious courses we'd ever had. We split each course and still took food home (which now I'm eager to have for lunch today!) if we are in the area again, we will certainly plan to stop for dinner!“

“We love CafBar. Great food/ drinks, always quick & friendly service. Favorite drink items are the matcha mint latte, and maple bourbon latte. Food wise we LOVE the blueberry coffee cake (it's honestly a bad habit, so buttery and delicious), the tuna melt, the nova bagel, and the egg melt. In truth, we haven't had anything bad. Perfect spot to stop for breakfast/ lunch/ coffee, and they recently expanded so there is more seating avail! We've never been at wine o'clock but I'm sure that's just as lovely as the rest.“

“The Tree House Tavern is amazing! I hosted a Bridal Shower here and from my first inquiry to the day of the event, I was amazed. The venue is PERFECT for a shower or a get together with friends/family. I highly recommend their dessert (cupcakes are amazing) and all of their food is scrumptious! My event had about 25 people and we fit comfortably in the rooms in which we reserved. Jacqueline the event coordinator goes above and beyond for her guests. The waiters/waitresses were very attentive to all guests and checked in on the Bride and MOH multiple times through the night. I will recommend everyone I know to check out this spot! Their florist does a great job as well, the decor is amazing. Tables were set very neatly and everything was warm and inviting. I also really love coming here for Lunch/dinner as well. Truly a hidden gem.“

“Great coffee shop, the sandwich/bagel menu chalk board gets lost in the busy atmosphere. One thing that was a surprise was that you can only order 2 Zeppoles per family. Regardless that was enough for our party. The sandwich of egg cheese and spicy chorizo was yummy and the jalapeno with jalapeno cream cheese was really great, very spicy not like since other places that is mild so beware of the heat ?. The coffee was very good and the chai tea was a little on the sweet side.“

“The Chop House Grill has been our go-to place every week for years. We went again tonight and sat at the bar to eat and interact with James Tsai, our favorite bartender and server. He is a true expert at his job, and is frequently observed training new waitstaff. He gave us perfect service as always. A newer member of the staff is Max, whom we also enjoy dealing with. Both are ideal representatives of the Chop House Grill. Kudos! I wish that we could give 10 stars to "the Chop" and these amazing people.“

“Perfect ! I had my daughter's baby shower in the sanctuary room at the Safehouse. From the start I met with the banquet coordinator Erin. She was wonderful to work with. On the day of the shower I was greeted by the other banquet coordinator Alyssa. She was also great to work with. My servers were Jess and Meg. Both were so sweet and very good. We wanted for nothing. Everything ran smooth and all of the staff was attentive and friendly. Food was amazing. All my guests...over 50 of them...raved about how wonderful the party was. The best they had ever been to. “Excellent ice cream with a big selection of flavors and toppings. The prices are a good value because the portions are large. They need to make money and are not open all year, so 5-6$ for a small ice cream seems totally reasonable to me. Especially when the small is more like a large. When the line is at its longest, it can take 30 mins until you have something in hand. This happens on weekends after dinner during the nice weather.“

“Food was ok and service was good. Food came out pretty fast. I don't like that you have to get a huge 5 peices of French toast and you can't get 2 with eggs etc. Cornbeef hash isn't your traditional type and I wasn't a big fan of whatever veggies were mixed in and the bottom was alittle burnt. Two adults and 1 child came to over $50 so its a bit on the pricey side.“

“Alma’s is a gem of a coffee shop and market in Wickford, RI. I finally hit the timing right to pop in, see the market, and grab a drink. The market is pristine with a great local variety of items to choose from. The service was friendly and efficient—I got the iced cardamom latte with oatmilk. I had a little bit of sticker shock with the latte price being just over $8.00 total, but the speciality iced drinks do cost more, plus I added oatmilk. The espresso itself was great, but next time I’d stick to a cold brew.I look forward to going back and trying more of the food menu next time since everything looks so fresh and delicious. (I’ve got my eye on the tofu bahn mi or the 8 1/2 caprese!)“

“First time ever at besos & tapas. Food was delicious but way more than i would spend on a typical night out for 2. Staff was wonderful and attentative to our needs. Only real issue we had was there was a large party who could not follow simple seating directions and crowded the walking space around our table and bumped into our table several times before they finally all sat down. This made it impossible for patrons and and staff to freely get to places they need. Would like to have seen the management be more assertive in helping the staff move the party along. But the wait staff was excellent through the whole issue. Would absolutely go back for special occasions but not for regular dinners out.“

“I haven't been to a Ts in ages. So, I went recently. The service was wonderful and OMG this Benny I got... It's a cranberry jalapeno chicken sausage Benny. I DREAM of this Benny. It's so amazing. It's going to be really, really difficult to order anything else next time I come in. “Hidden gem, not really near anything but close to the highway so easy to get to. Great flavor, a bit unique blend of cheese I think gives it the flavor. Thin crust, with chewy crust. Never disappoints when I do visit. Just check hours, not always open when you might expect.“

Waffle bowl $1.25. $8.25 for two scoops and waffle bowl. Scoops were good size. Fast service. Young friendly staff. Pistachio light flavor. Cannoli flavor initially good light also. Nutella flavor a must. Espresso more maple than espresso. Should be stronger.“

“Overall, I love this place. It's just a bit too noisy for my sensitive ears. Great menu, with excellent selections. My “French Tini” cocktail was wonderful! The only issue with the food was that, across the board, too much sauce on each dish! Excessive amounts of salad dressing, pesto sauce and even too much blue cheese. In this case, all was delicious, just over sauced. Less is sometimes better. If the quality of cooking and ingredients is there (which it definitely was), moderate quantities allow the flavors to shine. Ps, don't skip the excellent rolls and fresh butter that are brought to the table...skip the carbs some other time because Plum Point bakes THE best rolls!!!“

Our waitress named Brec was very sweet and took great care of us. We asked Brec for some recommendations and she did an amazing job suggesting her personal favorite meal, a staff favorite and a special of the night. We ended up getting two of those recommendations, fish tacos and the local farm burger. Both lived up to the hype! Proportion sizes were nice and we ended up taking boxes home.
