Verde winery has the best wine in all NE. We have been to quite a few vineyards around NE and find that we return to Verde. It is the only vineyard that I ever bought a case a wine from. We enjoy it especially in the summer watching the sunset.
First time there today & what a wonderful little treasure. I only went for a gift certificate but found myself experiencing the ambience of the inside of where the wine tasting is. Jim who is 85 yrs old telling us the history of wines & the proper ways of tasting the wine. This is a hidden treasure & a must see!!!

Great way to spend some time before or after lunch. Was looking for a nearby place to do a wine tasting after grabbing lunch in the area. Thanks to our Yelp friends, we found this spot! After lunch we took a drive to a quiet unassuming winery in Johnston.
