“We held my sister’s baby shower here and I was extremely impressed. Maria, the owner, set up everything beautifully. The sandwiches, empanadas, salad, charcuterie, desserts, and drinks were perfect. Maria catered all of the food and it was delicious. We had the shower after the cafe was closed and it was so nice having the entire place to ourselves. Maria gave us her undivided attention while also giving us plenty of space. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. The parking was very convenient. I have thrown a few baby and bridal showers and this one by far was the nicest, easiest, and most relaxing. I wasn't sure what to expect as they're not located in a food mecca. However, everything was fantastic! I got some avocado toast and a pistachio latte. I don't even like avocado toast, as it's usually under seasoned but there's was very good. The latte was balanced and flavorful. My 10yo got the passion fruit spritzer. It tasted like real passion fruit not some chemical trying to mimic it. I sat and worked for awhile. Staff was helpful, patient, and friendly. I will definitely return!“
“Aleppo Sweets is an amazing spot with a fantastic atmosphere and even better food. We loved the decorations and hanging plants.We ordered variety of dishes to split between three of us. We ordered the spicy chicken shawarma wrap, the spicy falafel wrap, the baba ghanoush, the cheese fatayer, and the musabaha and finished off the meal with an ice cream baklava sweet treat to share. We got two Turkish coffees with milk and a hibiscus iced tea that were delicious complements to the meal. There was a bit of a wait for the coffees, but that’s totally understandable considering how they are made!All of the dishes were delicious but the spicy chicken shawarma with a garlic sauce to die for and the pistachio baklava with vanilla ice cream sandwiched between was out of this world good. I requested they deliver them to our location. Not only were they on time, but Rex placed a call to me prior to heading over. The presentation was perfection. They provided us with plates, forks and napkins as well as some to go boxes. I highly recommend Zinneken's Belgian Waffles! I am an event planner - so I always look for the WOW factor and this had it all! It had a pretty decent selection and the one lady working there was very kind!We tried the fruity pebbles donut and the maple bacon donut. The fruity pebbles donut was the better of the two and the nuts on the top gave it nice some nice added texture. The maple bacon was good too but didn’t taste like anything all that special. “My daughter and I were staying at the Graduate Hotel in downtown Providence and we were in desperate need of a good place for cappucino and a some food before returning home. Bolt Coffee was a short block walk from the hotel and smack beside the Biltmore Garage where we were parked. It was so cold and windy we were tempted to resort to a drive thru but I'm SO happy that we pushed through and went in. The atmosphere was bright, warm, and welcoming. We ordered an iced caramel cappucino and a hot cappucino, the Breakfast Sandwich and a Ham & Cheese croissant. The wait staff was excellent and the food was so fresh! We decided to stay and eat there and split the sandwiches. They were both delicious! My cappucino was a work of art and made me smile...sometimes it's just those simple touches that make your experience. We will definitely go back to Providence soon and Bolt will be the first stop on our list.“

“My only question...why the HECK did I not find this place SOONER?! It's a total VIBE. In the best way possible!Last Wednesday evening at 8:15pm I found myself in need of a caffeinated drink. I don't normally drink caffeinated coffee, but it was under weird/emergency circumstances. Anyhoo!I checked my usual local places...Honey Dew had closed at 6pm, Starbucks had just locked up at 8pm. It looked like bad news for me and the all nighter I had in front of me with the huge work project on my plate....But then Ashur Café popped up. I had seen this place on Mineral Spring Ave for a year and a half and was very curious about it. So, I threw on my jacket and hopped in the car.Total transparency. I've never stepped foot into a Hookah place before. I didn't know what it was gonna be like and I was worried that it would be smokey and be difficult to breathe inside with my asthma. However, I was so pleasantly surprised!When I walked in I was greeted with lovely music on the speakers. My Sagittarius Soul felt instantly transported to another world! It was fabulous. There were several tables with twenty something year olds enjoying drinks, apps, and sweets. The Hookah thingies were very cool looking and didn't give off a scent like tobacco does. I was sitting down and breathing in clean air. That might not mean a lot to some people, but for people with asthma, it matters a whole lot. And unfortunately I just wasn't in the know about Hookah until that moment ?. But I'm glad to know now!I walked right up to the counter and was greeted by a gentleman. I told him it was my first time there and he graciously handed me a menu. I already knew that I wanted an iced mocha and a crepe. But I had to figure out which crepe was calling to me.I decided on the tantalizing Ashur Crepe. My large sized iced mocha and crepe to go was $20.24. Very reasonable. I sat down in one of the beautiful chairs and chilled out with the wonderful music and atmosphere with the other patrons. There was a larger party of 5-6 20-something year-olds who were having a lovely time in the corner and seemed to have ordered some really delicious savory dishes because the kitchen smelled AH-MAZING.And I also noted a young gentleman sitting at the window with several laptops, probably working on school work. This place is open until 11pm. I'm a regular night owl and since I've relocated to the east coast, it's been a difficult adjustment to not have hangouts later at night. As I sat and waited for my delicious crepe concoction to be created behind the counter, I started thinking of all the great work projects I can get done here while parking myself at one of these lovely tables. Yep, that's right! I've just found my new late night spot! ??????Talk about awesome sauce! When my crepe was ready to go, I headed out. When I got home, the game plan was to split the crepe with my family members. When I took it out of the bag, though....? what a piece of art! ? I had to snap a picture!These chefs are extremely talented and know what they're doing. Equally, the bagel was grilles which is a welcomed method of toasting, however, it had the grills residual flavors of garlic, salt, and some other questionable flavors left unrecognizable due to the other sweet flavors.
