You guys...I haven't lived in Newport for a few years now, but I still think about this place. It was go-to for me while there. The food was delicious. Dishes I'd get: spring rolls, crispy egg rolls (love the texture), the marinated pork rice dish (such good flavors), clay pot pork (wish it was bigger, but still delicious) Definitely try it at least once while you're in the area

Been going for a while now, I'm originally from California where pho places are left and right. Didn't expect I'd find this here in Rhode Island where variety of cuisines and authenticity of food is hard to find! This is the place to go :D The owners/staff are really friendly and kind! The drinks are great too. Recommend Taro and Thai Tea!

One of the dishes I ordered was a pork dish in the menu that I asked if they could replace the grilled pork with mushrooms (as I was a vegetarian) n they said yes. I was served raw mushrooms with vermicelli. When I asked if they could sauté them, they said they cannot take the dish back to the kitchen n instead offered for me to order something else from the menu. So I ordered another dish but when it came to billing, I was shocked to see that they charged me full price for both the dishes. Very commercial place though the food was decent.

The Pho here is amazing! My kids like the lo Mein. Definitely add a touch of the table chili sauce - even if you don't like spicy.This is our favorite Pho place in the area.

Had amazing fresh food there today. Large portions. Waitress was so nice the Vietnamese coffee is also worth a try. We will definitely be back!
Tried Sunrise again. I'm glad they're still around, but the issues remain the same. While the dishes are tasty, they really skimp on all proteins. Hardly any meat in the pho, and 2 takeout dishes (caramel pork and shrimp vermicelli) were so small they could easily be combined into a single smallish entree.

Good food at relatively reasonable prices. My pork chop over rice was tasty. I would have liked more toppings like egg omelette and pork skin but prices have gone up everywhere so it was ok for the price. Hubby's seafood noodle soup was lackluster with only a few slivers of fish cake. My son's pho had more meat. The star is the cabbage salad with the right mix of sweet, salty and savory.
