My daughter brought me here as I was visiting and it's hard to find authentic and tasty English Food and a proper cup of tea. The couple who owns it is lovely and of course have that great warmth of "Here's your tea love." the Cumberland sausages were excellent and are made here, the scones were wonderful and everything was cooked just right. it's a little hard getting into because of the construction but don't let that stop you! Served by the owners and the cute ambiance of the Queen and the King are fun.

Got my money taken. I placed an order for pick up the order said it was getting made I went there and noticed the door was locked and nobody was there. On there website it said they are open and it said on the door they were open which wasn’t true. Had to call Grubhub to get a refund what a joke.

Strange place! Strange food! Don't ask for hot sauce or jalapeños to make the food better either or just to change the flavor cause you're gonna get a lecture from the time you ask till the time you walk out the door. Just really strange that's the main thing I can say bout the place.

Food here is too good to be considered traditional British fare. Hehe The owner/staff are friendly and helpful. I used to buy a lot of British candy here but it's gotten a little too expensive. Try them out it's a great change of pace from America fare. I had the Cumberland sausage sandwich and some tea for lunch. They were delicious! Nice, clean cafe and there are imported candies for purchase that don't have the junk that's put into American candies. Will be making my way back to try other items on the menu!

I had the Cumberland Sausage sandwich with mashed potatoes and beans yesterday. It was one of the best lunches I’ve had in a long time! Highly recommended, and I’m looking forward to going back and trying more items on the menu.
