IYAC isn't for everyone, but when you just need a beer with some sailing buddies or a honkey tonk to catch the game, it fits the bill every time. People that are saying the beer is expensive might be comparing it to beer prices at a bar in Woonsocket, but this is Newport; the Athletic Club's beverage prices are right in the middle of the range. This is a outstanding place to grab a drink to hangout with friends. It's a local spot. This is a sailers bar but full of all types and of all ages. Everyone here is very nice. The drinks are great. It's in a great spot sort at the end Thames. Go check it out!!
