The Social on Mineral Spring Avenue in North Providence is a great place to go and get some really good food and watch a game. We ordered wings, and a few pizzas that night. The Margherita pizza with pepperoni was absolutely fantastic. Crispy, thin and delicious. The wings were very good too. There are ample seats at the bar and more than enough booths and high tops to accommodate any size group. Jamie has done a great a job at The Social!

Service was good and quick. Food was decent.French onion soup was not special. It was very hot.Bedhead for the table was inconsistent. Some got baskets of focaccia, waitress brought us a loaf of bread??Pizza was delish-pink vodka sauce with chicken. The whole restaurant smelled like truffle oil...not a fan of that.

The pasta I had wasn’t bad, but not the best I’ve ever eaten. The pasta was too Al dente for my personal taste. The waitress we had seemed friendly and seemed knowledgeable about the menu. The parking lot is pretty tight, but we only had to wait about five minutes for a table for it being 7 at night. I would probably like to try something else from the menu next time! This is a restaurant I would probably try again, but not often.

A group of friends for more than 60 years came to The Social on Friday night. It was a night of special love for all of us.We started with apps…. Calamari with Balsamic Glaze and Calamari with Sweet Asian Chili along with some Eggplant Rollatini. Delish!! We had some nice glasses of wine and som beers all at a reasonable price. We ordered our dinners of some veal dishes… Veal Milanese (Excellant!) and Veal Parmigiana(also Excellant).. Scrod Florentine, Orecchiette Pasta with Sausage and Rabe ( Delish but personally, I am not a fan of ground sausage … I like chunks ?)and the desserts of Brownie Sundae, Tiramisu, and Molten Lava Cake. Everything again was delish and everything is reasonably priced!! Definitely going back. I would give a 5 out of 5 but a little loud. Lol

Service was horrendous, took over an hour to get a pizza and 2 sandwiches and when we inquired, we were told it was taking so long due to the pizza. Fries were not cooked and sandwiches were definitely lacking. Very disappointing because we saw the reviews and thought it looked like a good place to try. Do yourself a favor and spend your money somewhere else. Atmosphere seemed cool, so maybe just get a drink and sit at the bar!

I had a great time! Having been in the bar business, Ashley is a fantastic bartender and runs a tight ship! It's hard to to find someone with work ethic like hers these days, she deserves a raise!! Keep her at all costs!

While this restaurant has the unfortunate luck of changing hands quite frequently, this iteration may well be the best so far. A major overhaul of the building and decorations happened (again) but the layout remains familiar. The big thing, for me anyway, is the menu. Specifically, the pizza. Even though The Social is within walking distance of two other pizza joints, the chef here blows them out of the water. I get a basic pie (just cheese) to get an idea of what to expect and, man! It was amazing. There's something about the crust and how well done it is that just checks all the boxes. Forget the other pizzerias close by, just go to The Social. You won't be disappointed.

Went for din last night and it was delicious! Excellent tomato sauce. We sat at a hi-top in the bar and the atmosphere was very pleasant and not too loud, even though it was full. Our waitress was great. The food was very good. I would recommend this place!

Service was great, but the quality of the food was not very good. 3 of us had pasta that was under cooked and extremely chewy (not al dente). I had grilled chicken breast that was so over cooked it was had to chew. Loud loud noise. Hard to talk to others at our table. Doubt I'll be back.
