Best flan I’ve enjoyed in the US?? Great mixed drinks delicious enchiladas verde and friendly staff!
I found Chilangos by serendipity: we were looking for a Mexican restaurant that was open on Tuesday and we liked the menu on the website because the food was true Mexican food, not the usual Americanized Mexican. So we took a chance. And we were not at all disappointed!
First, we were greeted warmly, in a genuine way, by the owner. They seemed genuinely glad to have us. The older gentleman was friendly and playful towards my son.

I had an incredible first-time experience at Chilangos this evening! From drinks to dessert, everything exceeded my expectations. The appetizers and meals were outstanding—especially the chips and salsa, queso, and burrito. The staff was so friendly and attentive, checking in often and clearing plates promptly. Chilangos offers a unique dining experience with authentic flavors and polite staff. The atmosphere is reminiscent of an old-world setting, with a beautiful interior featuring old pictures, and a warm, cozy, and intimate vibe. The food is amazing, with standout dishes like Enchiladas de Espárragos con Mole Apiñonado and Enchiladas Verdes. The queso fundido is described as the best cheese dish ever, creamy and flavorful. The Plato del Rey and shrimp Diablo are also phenomenal. The margaritas are expertly crafted and the best ever, and the service is exceptional, friendly, and top notch, though it can sometimes be slow. Chilangos is not just a restaurant; it's a place that creates lasting memories, making every visit special.
