I came here today, and I got the trace my chase and the quesadilla and the Hibiscus margarita. That quesadilla was literally a ton out of 10 it was made with this brisket meat that literally falls apart in your mouth. It was so delicious and then the trace slight chase was so scrumptious that frosting was amazing The margaritas were literally 10 out of 10 so perfectly done. You can tell that the people who own this place have so much passion for what they do. It genuinely shows in the food and the customer service. The owner was such a sweet lady. She came around to make sure that everything was OK and that we loved everything. I could not say enough good things about this place I Will definitely return if you are looking for amazing food and amazing people definitely come by

Very good, but I don’t think a margarita should be served in a highball glass with ice. Otherwise very good.

A nice higher end but not super pricey Mexican restaurant, food is very fresh and tasty, didnt love that rice and beans are served family style but they bring as many refills as you want.

I have come to Dolores a handful of times since the summer. I generally like their food and drinks. I went back this evening and ordered a huarache with pork belly. The huarache came with chunks of inedible fat and very little meat. I asked for the fresh veggies that come with the tacos to come with my enchiladas- the cilantro, the onions and the radish. I was brought cooked Veggies that go on the inside of a taco instead of the fresh toppings, and then was told I would still be up charged for them, even though the waiter brought the wrong thing to me. Who does that? They ultimately adjust the up charge from $4 to $2, but I have never been charged for the cilantro, radish, and onion. That was enough for me to say I won’t be back anytime soon. Treat your patrons better. The meal cost me $75 for one app, one entree and two drinks. It’s not cheap at Dolores for them to be stingy with cilantro and onions.

My wife and I went here after a number of people had recommended it. Overall this did not live up to the hype people gave it. Living in a house with someone who is Mexican makes you appreciate real authentic Mexican food. The restaurant is not shy about charging you however they underdeliver for what you pay. First and really important is if you are going to claim authentic Mexican cuisine you need to serve homemade tortillas not store bought. This was a huge disappointment. My wife had the pistachio mole which had a good flavor, chorizo was a nice balance however should have had more octopus. The carne asada meat had a nice flavor and was tender. The rice was okay however needed some seasoning. Beans had a good flavor and seemed fresh. Service was a bit hit or miss. At times seemed like they were rushing you a bit and in a place like this servers should not be wearing t-shirts. Overall disappointed after hearing all the good reviews. Uncertain if we would return

I don't think I've had better Mexican food in my life. The mole poblano is a destination dish. It was so outrageously deep, rich, earthy, and bitter, while having a pleasant background heat. I've never had a "mole" like this before, which is most likely due to the fact that this spot is uber authentic and everywhere else I've been simply is not. Its rare that I taste something "new" or "different" on my palette, something that I can't place or compare to - but this dish does exactly that.Everything else I tasted was also stellar, but the other massive hit at the table was the nopales. The balance of the dish was downright phenomenal - it was acidic, salty, and punchy. Such a great dish to go along side some of the heavier, richer, deeper options. The drinks are fresh and carefully crafted to boot.Similar to others, the service was a bit slow, but it was very friendly. Its truly a staffing thing, as there were only 2 people working the entire place, and that said, those two women were busting their butts. As an added bonus, Maria popped out while we were there, which was an awesome surprise.

Not only was the food, presentation, and service great--the music was BUMPIN!!! The variety of mimosa flavors all rock! My one critique would be the minimal portion sizes for the brunch menu.

This place was incredible. I was honestly amazed with the quality of the food given how reasonable the prices were. Felt like I was definitely getting my money’s worth. 10/10 would go again.Edit: went again for dinner (first for brunch). Food is still excellent.
