Excellent food prep & service. At my request the chef prepared my dish with less salt. The coffee was amazing, try a cup.

They need to improve service because it takes a long time to bring the orders and they can't even process the payment

First time trying Machupicchu restaurant & Peruvian food. It costs approximately 25$ which is kind of overpriced in my opinion. The food tasted amazing. I was not expecting the plantains to be soft and sweet as I’ve only had them deep fried with Haitian food in the past. I love the combination of sunny side up eggs, steak, french fries, rice & plantains. Perfect mix and balances everything out. This is definitely a hidden gem in Providence.

My review is on the food! We ordered a takeout recently and I ordered seafood, my husband had steak both were terrible. The salt was unbearable. I had to take all the sauce off, cook more rice to add to my plate. I will never eat here again!! When I order out and it’s supposed to be fresh and well cooked! Ugh!!! Just a waste of money and time since we went to pick it up, but also very unhealthy to serve that kind of salt!!

Worst dining experience of my life. Went tonight to celebrate my birthday. For starters it was my family’s very first time there and after having been sat at the table for 55 minutes we were still waiting for our drinks. We had already run out of and drank the water that they set at the table for us (one small pitcher for 8 people) so we sat there for a good half hours with not even drinks. When most of our party finally did get them the coffee and tea were cold. When expressing how upset we were by the service thus far our server lectured us on how they were overwhelmed with door dash Uber and take out orders and that we didn’t receive any cream for the coffee because we didn’t ask for it and that here the standard for coffee is black. It was our first time here we didn’t know we had to ask for something and it wasn’t even offered when the coffee was dropped off the server didn’t ask if we needed any cream or sugar. By the time we did get the cream the coffee was ice cold. If you don’t have the staffing to accommodate dine in maybe you should be take out only. They finally brought a can of soda that they had probably forgotten about so someone in our party had no drink at all for OVER an hour, it was brought out without a glass and the server again told us well you didn’t ask for a glass. We weren’t asked for the temp on any of the meat and I’m pretty sure it’s a fairly normal practice for a server to ask for temps for meat. Having worked at the service industry I am beyond disappointed in this experience and wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. The waiter made us feel like it was our fault we had this bad experience. “Please understand we are prioritizing Uber orders” well your business needs to understand that we made a reservation for a party of 8 (so you were well informed that you’d be busy at this time so maybe staff accordingly) and you ruined my birthday. We were given paper plates for the cake, we weren’t even given enough cutlery for our party so we had to share spoons. 0/10 stars

Very much a family style restaurant in the one section we were in but there is a larger open area, that would be a modern dining atmosphere. The food was very good and whilst our waited wasn't a native English speaker (duh - it's a Peruvian restaurant so... Spanish??) we used Google translate to get our meal just as we wanted it!We will go back next time we're in Providence. The food was very reasonably priced too.Recommended.Parking: Parking is in lot adjacent to the restaurant although we parked on the street in front NP. The adjacent lot was full when we visited.

I heard some crazy 42-year-old man spat on a lady here on his work retreat. Crazy story.
