Had to prepare my friends to this experience, and it was a success ~ the staff were able to explain the process of picking a broth, and then ordering all soup contents ~~ you get your own pot which was great for some individuals with diet restrictions. It was warm and cozy. The sauce station was clean and easy. Will go again to warm myself up!
This was our first time at Y Shabu Shabu. We went for a night after Valentine's Day dinner for something different. I chose the Szechuan broth and my wife had the Sukiyaki. We both enjoyed their respective flavors. We chose a variety of appetizers, meats, seafoods and we both chose udon noodles. There was literally a piece of a metal dish scrubby in our food. The customer service for this was that the waitress told us she would tell the owner...and we got a free piece of cake. Aside from the undesired metal add on, it's a super cool experience to customize these delicious dishes. All you can eat is sweet and reasonably priced especially if you consider you could eat ALL the meat and it would be the same price.
