“Great place for a great bite. Locally sourced meat, non seed oil fried foods, tasty sauces and reasonably priced. They offer grass fed beef and have the same locally sourced meats used in their meals for sale in the refrigerator near the counter.

Favorite sandwich is the Buffalo chicken sandwich with their spicy crispy chicken!”

“Best burgers and fries I have ever had. We have been there 3 times for lunch. So good we didn’t even want dessert to take the taste away. That being said, we made a special trip back last Friday just to try their homemade ice cream. We were not disappointed. Best ice cream ever.”

“Absolutely a stop!! We had a great experience tasting wines and ciders. The Apple Pie - they nailed it! It tasted exactly like Apple pie and not too sweet but yes sweet. We also really enjoyed the fruit ciders - brown sugar peach, blueberry vanilla and pomegranate were our favorites but everything we tried was good. They also have games and a shuffle board table so you can relax sip and play a game. If you like ciders and you are nearby- definitely stop!!”

“Absolutely amazing experience! Planning a secret 80th birthday celebration for my father from 200 miles away in NJ, they made this event memorable in many ways. Jerry, Alyssa, and the whole family and staff went over the top. They provided us with a dedicated area and servers that didn’t miss a step. The texture, temperature, and seasoning of each dish were delectable and authentic. Jerry’s meatballs were all that. Cannoli’s the best we’ve had. Great ambiance, great service, and sumptuous authentic Italian food. This is easily one of, if not, the best meals we’ve ever eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough! Assolutamente favoloso!”

“We had an unforgettable experience! It was a snowy Saturday in late February when we arrived. We indulged in a variety of IPAs at this charming classic home, built in the 18th century New England style. The layout was superb, offering plenty of tables and seats to choose from. The bartender, Justin, proudly informed us that all the murals were original, leaving us in awe! They were reminiscent of the Wadsworth Atheneum (CT), showcasing their age and historical significance. Whether you’re here for the beer or not, this building is worth exploring with its iconic status. What an incredible opportunity to tour such a historic gem! We’ll definitely return to enjoy more delicious beer.”

“There is something about comfort food that just hits that “I’m hungry but don’t know what i want” spot. It doesn’t matter what ethnic background the food is. The wings wings equal out to about two dollars apiece but while that may seem pricey, The size of them more than make up for it, and the flavor is spot on every time the ramen bowls are not you’re boring open up a bag and microwave it ramen, you get a decent portion of meat, vegetables, and even an egg dropped into it highly recommend trying at least once”

“Just a sumptuous dinner at one of the most stately of resorts. Everything about the visit was 5 stars plus! The staff is top notch and exceptionally friendly. Our server was Ricardo and he was excellent. The most serene water view from our table added to the ambience. The summer campanelle and the Italian sausage rigatoni were perfect. The chocolate torte and the panna cotta were perfect. The drinks such as the Weekapaug sunrise were perfect. Definitely a place to come back to again and again.”

I was visiting from out of state and my family took us there for dinner, large portions and very delicious! You can really tell they love what they do and care for their customers.”

All the guests loved it! While at Vesta, I bought a cranberry pecan loaf. It is the Best. Bread. I have ever eaten.”

Vegetarian options: Mango sticky rice is fantastic. Tofu was prepared perfectly and used as a protein substitute. Vegetables were cooked to perfection; they were not too hard and were not too soft.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Can use wheelchair to get inside. It's very small inside, about five tables, so possibly would need to transfer person to a chair or bench, and fold up wheelchair while eating.”

“This was by far the best service we've had at a Subway anywhere. Both employees were friendly and patient with our large order for 6 people, but Zach absolutely made our day with his huge smile and playful attitude. Usually servers get frustrated with the kids as they tentatively ask for their veggie toppings, but Zach wasn't just accommodating, he was encouraging. "Extra pickles? Sure! Oh, EXTRA extra pickles? Right on!!" We all ended up smiling and happy, with tasty sandwiches just the way we wanted them. Thanks, Zach, for bringing your infectious good cheer!”

“My wife and I had the tasting menu with the wine pairing. There is a fish/meat or vegetarian option. The first course was tuna crudo with radish kimchi; the second course was a warm crab bisque; third course was a choice of monkfish or lobster; fourth course was scallops or Wagyu (with Japanese A5 Wagyu an extra $65). We had all of the dishes, and all were really excellent. The base level wine pairing was totally on point - incredibly well chosen to go with the food. The cheese course was fine, and the desert was really good. The wine list is very impressive. It was a great meal, but it is not cheap - dinner at a top of the line Relais and Chateaux place never is.”

“I think their food is fantastic and I love that their menu is constantly rotating. One of the few constant is there Caesar salad, which is one of my favorite Caesar salad in the region. I can’t figure out what is in the dressing and I’ve tried to replicate it many times. I’ve tried many of their pizzas but I appreciate the simpler ones the best with just fresh mozzarella and basil over the fancy ones. And their fresh pasta with unique sauces are always a go to. They make really fun and creative cocktails, my favorite being the recent summer one I had with a cube of coconut milk that melted away and changed the flavor of the cocktail as it went along. Loved that!”

“Had never been to the Brazen Hen before last Sunday and I realized I've been telling everyone who will listen how great my lunch was for the past week, so I figured maybe I should actually tell the Brazen Hen how much I liked it, too. I had the seared scallops (it's an appetizer but that's what I wanted for lunch) and it came with like a garlic spinach (excellent), but the scallops were perfect. They were buttery, not one bit of grit, and served with balsamic vinegar. Absolutely perfect, 11/10 would order again. Had the key lime pie for dessert and that, too, was amazing. Our waiter was doing double duty as bartender and he was super friendly and attentive and service was fast! What a perfect little spot for a Sunday afternoon date. We don't go to Westerly often but we will certainly be back. Loved it!”

It's been up and down here with food and service speed but on my last visit (5/4/23), the food came quickly and looked really solid. I didn't eat but had a few craft beers. Bartender isn't the most knowledgeable on the craft offerings but the selection is good! Came for trivia on a Thursday evening.”

“Alanna was such a pleasure I had to tip her personally. With the other employees, they had either an attitude or just an uninviting personality. Someone got our order incorrect and Alanna fixed it with a smile and quickly. I appreciate this customer service so much even though it was busy and we weren't upset at all, it was refreshing to see someone still with a smile and uplifting spirit under pressure. She was amazing I hope she succeeds well past her expectations in life.”

Let's start from the beginning ,started off ok the waitress who seated us was nice took our coffe order, then it started to bad , our waiters came over with an attitude right away , came to our table and said with an attitude "you ready to order yet " no hi no name nothing but that. So I ordered the short stack chocolate pancakes and a order of hash my wife ordered the breakfast burrito,she said ok and walked away . Another waitress delivered our food and she was nice . The hash was homemade with awful water down potatoes and over cooked cornbeef drenched in grease and had no seasoning. Wish I took a picture but grabbed the waitress who dropped off the food and said We can't eat this and before I could say why ,she said "to greasy ?" And I replied to greasy . Then I took a bite into the worst and dry pancakes I have ever had . My wife burrito was ok but the homefries were awful again watered down and no seasoning. When the rude waitress came to ask us if everything was OK we told here what was wrong and she replied "I have never had these many complaints I guess people like different things " and then walked away and never came back till she dropped off the bill which she did take off the hash and pancakes because we didn't eat them . No one came to refill our coffee.. its also important to mention the rude waitress went up to another waitress and said to her I'm doing this to prove a point today because what she did was wrong . we will never be back and caution people not to waste there time ! Worst breakfast place I have ever went to in my 47yrs ! Want great breakfast in that area go to Hungry heaven!”

“Today, 3 of us had lunch at your restaurant. Our server Valerie was great and the food was delicious. We’ve just experienced a devastating fire at our apartment complex a little over a week ago and some of us lost everything. We’ve been staying in a nearby hotel as massive repairs are in the works. When Valerie came with our check, she asked if we wanted to buy a raffle ticket to which we explained our situation. As we were getting ready to pay our bill, Valerie came over and said our lunch was on them. We couldn’t believe it. Thank you Valerie and management of the 99 Restaurant in Westerly for your kindness to us!”

“Outstanding! I was back for dinner last weekend with my wife. We had the firecracker starter, honey lavender salmon, and of course the burger, which were all cooked to perfection. The chef delivers every time and Tara makes an amazing martini. They have become our year-round go-to in all of Westerly. In the fall/winter months, we love settling into a cocktail by their stone fireplace, which is the centerpiece of the Inn. In the summer months, having dinner while enjoying their Friday evening live music is the best way to start the weekend. From the moment you walk in, Michael and Rob make you feel like you’re at home. Their ambience, food, cocktails, and service are unmatched. They’ve done a really nice job here.”
