The restaurant was closed but opened for a private event and even donated part of the proceeds to the charity we were raising funds for. Friendly staff that go out of their way to make sure you feel welcomed there and great food. Fantastic atmosphere right on the beach.Parking: Plenty of room to park in front of the restaurantKid-friendliness: Kids present at the event were treated well. One young girl dropped food off her plate and staff helped her get more food and carried her plate to the table for her. Very caring and personable staff.

29 years ago this was a hotel on the ocean, but hurricane Sandy took it out...all but the stone chimney which still stands surrounded by a beach bar/restaurant. We stayed in the hotel on our wedding night 29 years ago and went for our lunch on our anniversary this year. Great drinks, great service, BEST view. I wasn't thrilled with the lobster salad...it was the consistency of tuna and I was expecting something different, so I switched with hubby and loved his crispy fish sandwich. They brought us drunken gummies when they heard it was our anniversary Ended with an October walk on the beach...perfect day!

29 years ago my wife and I honeymooned at The Andrea. October 1st this year we returned to the shoreline to rekindle, by the fireplace that has remained, our marriage and those fond memories of yesteryear. The beautiful ocean, delicious food and thoughtful service made the day extra special for me and the Mrs.

I enjoyed my visit here. The service is friendly but not intrusive. When I needed ketchup or extra items, our waitress was responsive and kind. One needs to be flexible because a lot of things are sold out like the lobster dishes and chicken salad so if you are okay with limited options...thats something to take into account. I believe we had 30 minute wait which is reasonable but if you are hungry, it is best to arrive ahead. Our meal were simple, yet they arrived in big portions. We had pasta and linguine dishes. There's a kid menu and also tons of cocktails and beer & wine options! I liked the view since it's beautiful looking at the strong waves crashing and observing the sun setting in the far distance! I would recommend going to try this place especially if you have young kids or a baby and like a drink and a stunning view. It's definitely family friendly! Unless you are in a rush, totally make a reservation ahead of time, and do have some of the delicious meals! So yummy!

First time in this area and on vaca. We know this time of year most places on the water are closed so we were happy to see this one was open and we could eat over looking the ocean. We sat inside which is really a huge tent. Overall when we arrived we were excited but soon after getting our appetizer things turned. While i know they do what they can, we just couldn't enjoy our food while constantly swatting flies and bees. It grossed us out. So we asked for our food to go and we just went back to the hotel to eat our dinner. The server was really nice about it. But unfortunately the food also wasn't great. The calamari was chewy and lacked flavor. The steak was ehhh and the salmon was over cooked. Based on the reviews we were surprised. Sorry, just not for us i guess.

$36 for five scallops and pasta. I understand it is in season pricing but that was ridiculous. Uncomfortable chairs loud obnoxious atmosphere food was good. Service was OK. Our server spent over five minutes talking with friends at another table could not get her attention for another cocktail.

Came in as a walk in for food. The people in front of us were greeted with respect, and brought immediately without reservations as soon as we greet at the host, her energy shift it and she told us we had to wait 10 minutes or we can go to the bar. She was very ignorant and definitely was racial profiling the people behind us also didn’t have a reservation and they were seated immediately to.

We enjoyed our meal. The chowder and clam fritters were a great starter. I enjoyed my sword fish ,( the day's special) the portion was very generous! The location is unique. Our server was very good. More of a beach bar atmosphere than fine dining. We ate at a high top inside the tent as the weather was not great, but I would like to try the outdoor patio with fireplace saved from the original Inn.

We had a great afternoon dining here! The service provided by Celia was top notch! Excellent, attentive and sociable when time allowed! The food was very good! Calamari as an appetizer, warm lobster roll and shrimp tacos as main course were all delicious!!! We shared a pitcher of white sangria! We will definitely be going again! Highly recommend!!!
