At first glance, I wasn’t sure as to what to expect upon arrival. As soon as I walked through the door, I immediately noticed the pizza oven. I also noticed that this is a small business, possibly family owned and operated. The interior is very reminiscent of the older Pizza Huts from the early 90s-2000s. While there is limited seating, there will be no problem for a small group to dine in comfortably.Less than 30 secs (or so it felt), I was greeted and seated by the host. The host had a very friendly approach. The basket of crackers that she brought to the table was a nice addition, I might. She was very helpful as she answered a few questions that I had about the menu. As soon as I placed the order, about two minutes later the older gentleman was placing the pizza in the oven. Now, let’s get into the star of the show, the pizza. I ordered a two topping pizza: pepperoni and Italian sausage and two cokes for $25.27. The pizza came out piping hot with this amazing, beautiful crust. The cheese was definitely cheese-ing. That pull was everything. The crust has an unfamiliar sweetness that caught me off guard, but I like it. The crust had an amazing crunch. Then I realized the sweetness was coming from the sauce. Needless to say, this was worth the 30min drive.

Friendly service, nice mom n' pop restaurant atmosphere. We absolutely loved our pizzas. Will return.

The pizza was nasty. The bread was like rubber. Did not get what I ordered. We took a bit of the pizza and threw it out. Salad was ok. This is the second time I've been there and both times was the same. I will not go back.

Super excited to find a Greek place in Aiken and was sure what to expect. We ordered our food and the waitress was nice and service was quick. The salad was OK, didn’t love it, didn’t hate it. The mozzarella sticks said homemade and they are not, they are frozen but they are good so it was fine. Then the food came out and it all went downhill. My husband got a chicken parm and the chicken was frozen patties and the meal just tasted “off” to us (i tried a bite). I got the gyro plate and was super excited because gyro meat is great, but the meat was over cooked, the potatoes over cooked and the tzatziki was sour. We did not finish our meals, requested our check, paid and left. We gave it a shot and now know not to return. The atmosphere is dark and dingy and I would not recommend going to eat here.We did not try the pizza and everyone around us had pizza, so that may be the way to go if you decide to try here.

Being Greek this was the only place in area, place is filthy dirty inside, dark and old. Mozzarella stick were ok nothing great, chicken parm was nasty frozen chicken patties, soggy and mushy. Only 3 Greek dishes and they were out of the Greek chicken dish so no real Greek food options. This place may or may not have good pizza but as for the dinner entree I had I would not go back. Was very over priced for what you got. Cheese sticks, chicken parm and a gyro cost $57 bucks for this sub par food. The waitress was good, attentive but that was the only thing good. Even the rest room was nasty, toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. We will not be returning.

Had an exceptional Greek salad, loaded pizza, and sweet tea. Followed by tastey Greek baklava for desert! The waitress was an exceptional server. Our first time eating here, but certainly won't be our last!Vegetarian options: Pizzas with no meat for those who are vegetarians!

Everything is great; food, service, atmosphere. I had not been here in years but so glad that I did. Acropolis is very convenient, location on my side of town. I'll definitely be back very soon. Love it!

This restaurant needs a little help when it comes to the business itself . First, it's only open from Wed through Sat from 4 until 9. Not very many people eat at 4 pm during the week. It would be so nice to have a Greek/ Mediterranean restaurant open for lunch that serves some dynamite Gyro sandwiches. I was hoping that this restaurant had Saganaki. It does not. The server didn't know what that was. It's a flambeed fried cheese served with a squeeze of lemon and pita bread. It's an out of this world appetizer. No, they have American fare like mozzarella sticks, fried mushrooms. The pizza was good, thin crust, not salty, and plenty of good toppings. I had a small salad to go with it. Home-made house dressing was wonderful, salad pretty small for $3.00. Just a handful of lettuce in a bowl, no real presentation there. The garlic bread toasty, hot and plenty of garlic powder. The food overall, pretty good. The restaurant itself needs an update. It's old and tired and probably would do better at a different location. But, don't let that stop you from trying their food. It is worth a try and we plan on returning to experience something else.

The food was exceptional. I got the pizza with an appetizer of fried mushrooms. Both of which I would recommend to anyone! Also the atmosphere was very cozy. They have darker lighting without making you feel like you can't see anything. I will definitely be coming back!(BTW, some people complain about the owner and say he was rude, cold, and unwelcoming. One review said he was the rudest human being ever. That is not true. It's just his personality. He is a great guy and you should try his food anyday.)
