Service was terrible and over charging for food you don’t receive. It’s such a shame we use to come here a lot then as time went on the service got horrible. Some servers are very rude others just don’t care. I ordered 3 street tacos that are supposed to come with rice and beans. The server acted like he was in a rush…it was not busy in the restaurant.. maybe in a rush to chat with other servers? He messed up my order.. and took too long to come back to ask if my food was okay he dropped my meal off and took off before I could correct him. Then I asked him when he did come back where was my rice and beans but at that point I was starving and had to eat my wrong meal and he told me yes it comes comes with rice and beans and left. Still missing my other half of my meal, I asked him where was it and he said I forgot it. At that point it was too late to bring it to me. Then I get my $70 bill and no changes to my bill. So I told him he messed up my tacos I ordered and then forgot the rest of my meal and if he could fix my bill. He got someone to tell me no they can’t change it and they can bag up my rice and beans. I’m sorry yall but I work hard for my money and to be treated that poorly and still have to pay a full bill on there mess up is just wrong. No tip never will be back again. It’s sad we liked the food but man customer service is not worth ever returning again. Nor say a good word about them!

This is one of the best restaurants in Anderson. Service and food are excellent. Drinks are not watered down. Parking is great.Parking: This is located in a shopping center where there are plenty of parking spaces close to the restaurant.

Service and over charging is unacceptable. Our first visit here (3/30/2024) was enough to make us decide to never dine here again.Upon arriving, we were seated promptly. After ten minutes of waiting, my husband had to stop someone and ask how much longer we would need to wait before we could order our drinks. We finally ordered our drinks and meals (a Torta Burger and Enchiladas Rancheras). I specifically asked if beans and rice came with the Enchiladas Rancheras or not. “Jordan” said yes they did. I asked for the beans and rice to be on a separate plate each (I do not like my food to touch). Our orders arrived and the enchiladas were on one plate (missing the lettuce, tomato and sour cream) and the beans and rice were on a plate together, which is what I specifically was trying to avoid. We were not offered any refills to our half of a glass of ice and the other half soft drinks. When our check arrived we were charged for the Enchiladas Rancheras meal that was supposed to include rice and beans, but were charged an additional $9.00 for rice and beans. When my husband went to pay, he brought the overcharge to “Jordan’s” attention and Jordan’s response was the beans and rice were not part of the meal-even though I asked if it was or not when ordering.Three stars for the Torta Buger meal, zero stars for everything else.

Overall, okay. For some reason, ordering my nachos was more complicated than it should have been. Btw, why is adding mushrooms $3.50 extra!? Ridiculous.

I went to El Patron yesterday with a friend who treated me and the food wasn't bad. The service on-the-other-hand wasn't great. The waitress, an older Hispanic-looking woman with dark circles around her eyes, acted weird. The waitress had this attitude as if she didn't want to be there. I get that dealing with the public sucks; but, when you throw a straw at me and give me death glares within a second of interacting with me there is a problem.Moments after the food arriving the waitress kind of slams my friend's refill on the table after he went to the bathroom, as she does so she starts leaning over the table to get a look at my face from under my hoodie and gives me this look as if I have committed some sort of atrocity towards her in a past life.I do not know this woman in the slightest, have only said to her my drink order ("water," and my friend ordered the food for me), yet she acted like she hated my guts. This was the weirdest restaurant experience I've ever had. I was to tired to deal with it and thankfully I wasn't the one paying.

The reason for the one star the price is crazy plus found a rock in my food. The waiter was super nice about it but the manager was so rude about the whole

I would love to revisit this place because the food was great. The dip station has some hidden gems and the rice was perfect.

We love Mexican Spots, we’re from NYC. We’re here for my Wife birthday weekend. Found this spot online, and we went. Amazing food and a whole bunch of hot sauces you can try! I’m a hot spicy food lover.Kid-friendliness: We had kids with us, it was no issue sitting with them in the booth.

It's about expectations. If you expect this to be like most local Mexican restaurants, you'll be surprised as it is not. It's more like a modern sports bar that serves Mexican food. The food was ok, the service was good, the prices on the menu don't exist. This means if you have to ask the price, you're in the wrong restaurant! Example: One grilled quesadilla with rice: $18.99. Medium house margaritas with little or no tequila was $10. (Hint; pay $12 for Texas Margarita). On a Friday night, the 1st two Mexican restaurants we went to were so packed we left. This was #3. It was about 40% empty. Why? Not everyone wants to pay high prices and eat in a sport bar with shall we say 50+ TVs all on at the same time? So, this place is either great or horrible. It depends on your expectations.
