“Absolutely amazing. This has became our go to restaurant. The food is wonderful, the staff is always awesome, it's atmosphere is is family oriented, and it's very clean. It's the same Everytime we go in. They have a large selection of items to choose from.”
“Awesome, great, friendly staff!great atmosphere! And most importantly delicious food. They were all so kind and friendly to my son and I we will gladly be coming back in the future”
“I got there at the very end of the breakfast serving time, but they were very happy to serve the daily special SW Omlete to me. Huge portion, great taste, and grits to "die for". The Christian theme was very refreshing and lightened my day.”
“The food was good. We had a fried pork chop dinner and the portion was very large. They only serve lemonade and sweetened tea so I hope you’re not a diabetic. The young girl at the counter could be a little more friendly.”
“You can't go wrong eating here. I'm my opinion, they offer the best Mexican cuisine experience in the Columbia/Lexington area. Also their atmosphere at each location includes authentic decorations from Mexico. Their staff are always friendly & ”
“Really nice and large building. Has a great Spanish theme. Food was good, service, although a slight language barrier, was good . Prompt seating and service. $$”
“Great food and service. The mushrooms were fantastic, my sushi was awesome, and the plain noodles were perfect! Great for a quick lunch or even a low key date night!”
“Root Cellar is a fantastic local restaurant. Try the fried okra appetizer you won’t be disappointed. Grace was a wonderful server. They have a full bar. Everyone was very nice.Parking: Park at the front door.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options. Easy going.”
“Second time we have ordered take out from China House, but it will not be the last. I love egg drop soup and theirs is far SUPERIOR to any I have ever had. I ordered chicken chow mein for myself & Kang Pao Chicken for my husband. Mine was just what I wanted, and his was a HUGE amount of chicken, and delicious too. (I served, so I snuck a bite!) I rarely give 5 stars, but you've earned them CHINA HOUSE. Don't let me down!”
“The wait was a lot shorter than I expected.I got the Tour of Italy, I'm not a big fan of chicken parm, but this one was amazing!Next time I will get the cheese manicotti plate.”
“Love these folks! Been going here a lot of years. Only three grumpy critical reviews since July of 2021??? And one of them only complained that they closed unexpectedly at 9 pm instead of 10 pm! COVID protocol unfortunately caused the menu change and their prices are great compared to fast food places around them.”
“Came back to change my review. We gave it another shot and were pleased. They made sure we had everything correct and were so friendly! Please note the French fries have a special seasoning with cinnamon and brown sugar and I was not a fan but that is not the fault of the restaurant. When I called to ask about it they offered to bring me replacement fries. I wasn’t complaining just was so curious about the seasoning. I will eat here again. Also, prices are super reasonable. Fed my family of 5 for right over $30!”
“My husband and I really enjoy going by cookout and getting two trays ? I understand they have staffing problems sometimes and if everyone is not pulling their weight in a business it causes problems for everyone. I do not believe in running a business down for some minor issues! The food has been good every time we've been there and that has been quite a few since they have opened. We went by recently and got milkshakes because I had heard they were good!! Got a thumbs up ? also their staff is very friendly.Thank you Cook Out for coming to our small town ?”
“I was there last weekend. The best pizza I had in a while that I went back for another. Whenever I'm back in Batesburg I'll be going to Little Caesars.”
“Always good. The only thing I wish they would bring back is Qual Night.Dietary restrictions: If you are in a diet don't go here as the food is so good, you will over eat. For me this is a splurge.”
