My husband and I do not eat fried food much but decided to try Hankerin tonight for dinner and were delighted! I ordered a fish basket and I can't say I have ever had better. My husband ordered the shrimp basket and loved it. He sometimes orders shrimp at a local Mexican restaurant and says he might not be able to again for the reason that Hankerin shrimp is so fresh and delicious!
Came back to change my review. We gave it another shot and were pleased. They made sure we had everything correct and were so friendly!Please note the French fries have a special seasoning with cinnamon and brown sugar and I was not a fan but that is not the fault of the restaurant. When I called to ask about it they offered to bring me replacement fries. I wasn’t complaining just was so curious about the seasoning. I will eat here again. I TRIED THE HANKERIN FOR THE FIRST TIME, AND IT WAS GREAT PEOPLE COMPLAIN THE SERVICE IS SLOW. BUT THE FOOD IS COOKED TO ORDER AND ITS NOT CONSIDERED A FAST FOOD RESTURANT, I HAVE BEEN BACK 2 MORE TIMES AND TOOK FRIENDS, WE WERE WELCOMED AND HAVE NO COMPLAINTS, THE WORKERS THERE WERE HAPPY TO ASSIST US AND WERE CLEANING WHEN THEY WERENT HELPING CUSTOMERS, JAYME AND MANDI WERE GREAT HOST.
