We had a 6:20 reservation party 4,but our sons girlfriend joined us for dinner and we had 5 total. The hostess,a young asian girl, was rude and stated we had to be done eating by 7:15 because the place was busy..During our meal the restaurant was not even close to its capacity. Place decor is nice and waitress we had was nice, however the food took an extremely long time considering we just ordered sandwiches and place wasnt busy. The French fries were cold and sandwiches(chicken /Smash Burger also cold. We had to return my wife's grilled cheese sandwich because cheese wasn't melted and it had way to much spicy mustard. The second Grilled cheese sandwich wasn't much better as they even used a different cheese not on the menu. We were extremely disappointed with their food. There are definitely much better options to eat downtown. Don't waste your time and money on this restaurant.

Wow, what an incredible restaurant! From the service to the atmosphere to the food, gee, it really hits all the marks! I want to express my gratitude to the incredible staff for making my visit absolutely incredible. I’ve talked so highly of this restaurant, and I haven’t even mentioned the incredible, high quality cups. From top to bottom, this may be the best restaurant ever!

This is a restaurant for people who want to take pictures rather than eat good food. The food was the definition of mediocre. The shrimp and grits was very odd, strangely street. The burger tasted like a burger you could find at Dennys. The interior was decorated well and the drinks were good. Wade was a great server. Otherwise, this is a tourist trap.

Our table was outside. It wobbled so bad that our coffee spilled everytime we moved. The server fixed the table but we had to ask her to clean up the coffee. She left the table wet so we had to use our cloth napkins to dry it before we were served. Our order came out and the presentation was terrible. 2 slices of French toast. Not even a garnish. A strawberry or a few blueberries would have helped. The French toast was so dry that even butter and syrup didn't help. The price for basically two slices of bread was ridiculousVery disappointed.

This place is on Market near the center pavilion. It was a Thursday at 2:30pm so not a busy time. Quick service. Glassware and silverware were very heavy (always a good sign) with large cloth napkin. Atmosphere was a bit art deco a bit old South with sixteen foot ceilings and booths, benches and tall cafe tables. We sat at a small by the kitchen, roomy and comfortable. We had the street corn and chips, a grilled cheese sandwich and a side salad. We spilt everything and had lots left over. The corn chips are served warm - very nice. The street corn is roasted corn, a very light cream and cheese blended sauce and a garnish of endive, all tossed with chili spices. The grilled cheese was on sourdough with a honey Dijon spread, granny smith apple slices, caramelized pecans and a white cheddar cheese. It was really tasty. The side salad has what you would expect but with leaf lettuce, endive, fried wonton noodles, roasted corn and more of the cream sauce from the street corn.$36 for the two of us and we had leftovers. In a nutshell, if you are on Market looking for a spot to eat, give them a try.P.S.They also have live music later in the day.

Has potential but needs some work. Whoever did the interior design had a good idea in mind and the pictures definitely do the place justice. But once we were inside it did not feel very inviting. The music didn’t seem to match, it just felt very cold. Not the temperature. But the vibe. Mostly high tops with uncomfortable chairs. Tall ceilings which I like but with cold tile floors there’s no warmth to the place. Maybe more plants. More booths. Barier sitting areas, etc.We go out all the time downtown so we thought we’d try a new spot in this one looked to be pretty interesting, but was pretty underwhelmed by the food. I love a good double Smashburger and there’s plenty in town that compete to be the best, unfortunately, this spot wouldn’t remotely win that challenge. Just sadly really not good. My daughter got the chicken sandwich, which actually was really good and the dip appetizer was pretty tasty too but nothing to get terribly excited about. It seems to be more of a spot to grab a fun drink in the summer if you just popped off a cruise ship and are walking down market Street but if you’re from here and you’re looking For a chill spot to go for dinner that’ll impress this might not be your spot. Here on a cruise ship? Pop in and drink up!I’ll watch it and see if things improve and may try again sometime.

My daughter and I recently had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant during restaurant week in Charleston. As a frequent visitor to the city, I have always had positive dining experiences until this particular visit. We were excited to indulge in a variety of flavors, so we both opted for the restaurant week special, which allowed us to try two of everything. Admittedly, we anticipated that it might be a bit overwhelming in terms of portion size.To start off our meal, we ordered the appetizers. While they were satisfactory, they didn't quite meet our expectations. However, we remained optimistic for the main course, which featured mahi mahi. Unfortunately, both my daughter and I were left disappointed as the grilled fish lacked taste and seasoning. In fact, it had a peculiar flavor that didn't sit well with our palates. To make matters worse, I discovered two hard pieces in my dish, which almost made me feel nauseous. I promptly brought this to the attention of our waitress & showed them to her. She took them to the back and kindly informed us that these were crust pieces. This confused us even more, as there was no evidence of any crust on the fish. Despite our dissatisfaction, we didn't want to cause a scene or upset our waitress, who had been nothing but pleasant throughout the evening.Seeking some relief from the chilly temperature inside the restaurant, I decided to order a cup of coffee. Regrettably, it turned out to be the worst coffee I have ever tasted, and just warm.Overall, our experience at this restaurant during restaurant week was underwhelming. While the appetizers were decent, the main course fell short in terms of flavor and quality. Additionally, the presence of the foreign injects was off-putting. The deserts were tasty. Lastly, the poor quality of the coffee added to our disappointment. Despite these shortcomings, it is worth noting that our waitress was friendly and accommodating throughout our meal.

Come for the sangria and stay for the chips and dip. The trio of dip is a great shareable and they were all good. This is a perfect place to pop in for a light bite and refreshment while spending a day downtown. The service at the bar is great, and they are quick!
