This place is closed down! It needs to be removed from the internet!

Not a real business. I called the number on Google. Instead of the person saying they are no longer in business she act like she didn’t know what I was talking about. The location ended up being some house.

The door to this building is heavy! We initially thought it was closed but we had to pull the door hard. Upon getting our food, the cashier informed me that there was only fries and salad as side. It was cool but wanted to try the Mac and cheese. I was very excited to taste Charleston best seafood (that’s what the van said) husband order the fish sandwich and I ordered the shrimp and stuffed crab entree with two pineapple teas. One sauce giving was VERY salty! The other sauce was some kind of tarter sauce with seasoning, it was very thick. It was not dippable but you could spoon it on your food. The “stuffed crab” was breading in aluminum foil shaped as a shell and very wet. On top of the high blood pressure from the salty sauce, the tea will give you an insulin sock from the sugar content. We ended up going back to the hotel, splitting one drink and adding water (half &half) it was perfect then. The shrimp was under cooked. I ended up eating half my husband sandwich. I was glad they didn’t use iceberg lettuce for the salad. That’s the only compliment I have for the this establishment.

Nana's Seafood & Soul was a place we targeted for our first visit to Charleston. We hopped one of the DASH lines before walking a ways to get to Nana's before they opened. We had heard that they can get busy and our desired Garlic Shrimp & Crab Legs often would sell out and since we don't exactly make regular forays to Charleston we knew we didn't want to miss out. The place is small inside, another reason we wanted to arrive early. Per my title, the exterior, interior or ambiance won't win any awards so this is a food over the fluff place. We each had a Nana's (pineapple) tea and waited for our food. The Garlic Shrimp & Crab Legs is not a cheap dish but it was a lot of food. Plenty of garlic and spice to it so Nana's tea was a great complement to it. It is very messy to eat, you will run through plenty of paper towels/napkins but it is worth the work. Nana's is a definite place to go when visiting Charleston. I certainly saw plenty of menu items we could see ourselves enjoying if we are lucky enough to return to Charleston.

Must get anything with the garlic sauce! I had crab legs and shrimp, it was very flavorful and the meat came out the shells very easy!

A very small place with few places to sit but a spirited lady behind the counter serving up UberEats and some other customers. Most of the fare is fried seafood. I got the fried shrimp and some sort of crab thing with fries and it was yummy. Lots of sauce.

I'm surprised this place doesn't have more reviews as a quick search on the interweb for delicious local food in Charleston will lead you here. Having read about the 3 tables, I put on my tourist cap and arrived a bit before opening on Saturday afternoon and was the first person in, so suffice to say I got a table. I had also found parking with no problem. Even being there as early as I was there was still a little wait for the food, but everyone was super friendly, so the time passed quickly. The food definitely lived up to the hype, so yeah, I would certainly recommend making this part of your Charleston culinary experience.

Visited during a business trip this month. If you're planning to eat in, you may want to reconsider. Seating is VERY limited and parking, next to impossible. I ordered the fried chicken wings and shrimp. Unfortunately, the cook put the shrimp (it came with french fries), fries, and salad in the same container = hot salad. The shrimp was soggy and packed flavor. The fried chicken wings were perfectly crisp but only tasted of salt and pepper. Maybe this was a bad day.

This is a seafood takes out place and there may be around 6 chairs and 3 tables.the front is about 20x20 room to order. We did get more than enough shrimp in both to go boxes. the Tartar sauce is homemade and spicy and salad dressing was also homemade. This is place is mainly a takeout place

Popped in and ordered seafood dinner and returned 15 min later to collect a wonderfully crisp mixture of shrimp, Scallops and fish. Perfect.
