Wow! Wow! Wow! I can’t get over how amazing Salthouse was for us! Lauren was the absolute best to work with. So timely and kind and made the planning process so easy. The staff could not have been nicer! They took care of everything and allowed this bride to sit back and enjoy herself. Everything went seamlessly. My friends and family could not get over how delicious the food was, and neither could my husband and I. They had so many lovely options to choose from, you can’t go wrong. Everything we ate was absolutely wonderful. The presentation was beautiful. They truly exceeded our expectations. I am so thankful they were recommended to me and I recommend everyone use them! I look forward to dining with them again in the future, and in the meantime I will try my best to recreate their recipes in my kitchen.

The event was scheduled to be at Patriots Point and received a call that they would be closing due to the inclement weather. Jacqueline French our sales manager was very proactive and went out of her way to find a terrific venue in less than 24 hours. Jacqueline was hands on and really made me at ease during this stressful time. The food/presentation was truly amazing, and the staff was terrific. Jacqueline was the main contact for the planning process and tasting, she was amazing and answered all my annoying questions with ease and excitement! We went through a lot of changes due to the increase in food pricing this year and she really worked with me to find something that would work for us.The tasting really sold us!! There was not a single piece of food that we tried during our tasting that we did not want on our menu, every time my dad and now husband took a bite, my mom and I said “what do you think” and they couldn’t even compare one hor’dourves to the next one because they were all so delicious.The wedding day was no exception to the amazing food!! Throughout the night everyone kept coming up to us and saying how incredible the food was. Most people went back for seconds (we did stations) at EACH station!! The biggest regret we heard from my brother-in-law is that he didn’t eat MORE because he was full but it was that good.We had some extra food and Salthouse packed it up for us and not a single bit of it went to waste, we had the leftovers and they were DELICIOUS.It’s been a few weeks and we are still getting compliments on the food!! I was never stressed that Salthouse could not pull it off, they were well prepared and everything was as delicious as the tasting!I would pick Salthouse hands down again and even wish they had a restaurant in Charleston that I could eat at when I visit :) but hopefully we have another wedding in Charleston and get to enjoy them again!PS: I just do not have my pictures back yet (none in the sneak peak for food) but will try to remember to update when I get them!

We had the filet mignon and crab cake split plate and each plate was cooked to perfect, which can be so hard for such a large event.
