Fri nights are the best! They have wine tasting, a special menu, anything from the case can go on to the green egg & very friendly service! But overall it's a very cute neighborhood spot with a butcher shop, selection of cheese, wine, frozen options for meat & pasta and other accompaniments

First time in the store and saw hanger steak for $19 per pound as indicated on the sign. Ordered 2 pounds and was charged $23 per pound. I didn’t notice the price until I got home. The store is an hour away from me so I don’t want to waste my time and energy to return it. Not going to shops this store again.

House smoked salmon added to my custom salad. Topped off with any of their house made dressings. But come for the meats if that’s your thing!

Outstanding butcher that also has fantastic lunch sandwiches and gourmet dinners. Great selection of meats and fish, along with pasta and soups. Specialty menus during the holidays are excellent as well. Highly recommended!

I’ve been to Charleston twice before and I lament only finding out about Ted’s this time around. I eat a carnivore diet and asked for 1/2lb cooked bacon which I’m sure they found odd but was able to accommodate. The bacon is delicious possessing a hearty fat to protein ratio making it very satisfying. I ate 4 slices and was satiated. I now have enough to get me through the next day. I plan on stopping by before I fly out for the flight home.

Ted is the best butcher in town! I’ve been visiting and going here for about 8 years now. A class act, and very helpful. Always enjoy how he talks and visits with customers, bestows his wisdom and extensive knowledge of food and wine for the hungry to learn more! My only complaint is I don’t visit enough! Arguably also one of the best lunch spots in all of Charleston.

Great service, fantastic sandwiches for a quick bite at a reasonable price. Steaks I’ve tried are some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Made me question going back to Hall’s

I was looking for something quick to eat before going on a boat cruise. Ted’s Dockside is amazing! The sandwich was incredible. Staff was all very kind and attentive. There is so much in this shop that I will likely break my rule of always trying a different restaurant when I visit Charleston… because the steaks I saw looked and smelled delicious! They also give back to the community which is great!!

Delicious sandwiches! My husband had the Wagyu with caramelized onion and blue cheese. He says it was the best sandwich he has ever had!
