NEVER AGAIN will i order anything from this place!!! The food wasn't done the way we requested it, my daughter requested that her burger be well done and it was far from it. I had to cook it myself!! I was given ketchup instead of cocktail sauce, both of our baked potatoes were hard as rocks, the blue cheese dressing tasted cankered - just an unbelievably horrible experience all the way around!!

Our server was also our cook; there was only one person on staff. She was very nice and our service was good, but the food was rough. My baked potato was brown and old. My dad got the low country boil. The vegetables in it were hard and the seafood was not good. The crawdads had a very fishy taste. My kids ordered corn on the cob with their food, but wouldn't eat it because it tasted bad. My fried shrimp and okra were ok, but for a called "oyster bar", I expected the seafood to be way better..... My husband liked his catfish and my sister liked her brisket. I wish there were some options for vegetables that were prepared in a healthier way. A lot of things are fried or cooked and meat juice. I think this restaurant has potential, but needs some help. As it stands right now, I wouldn't go here again.

If you are in need of catering - this is the place! Teri is/was awesome. She catered our company Christmas party and could not have done anything better than it already was. We had the chicken bog (I've had it before and knew I wanted it on our menu), brisket, and bbq. The sides and the desserts were just as good as the entrees. They arrived early, setup, served, and cleaned up with promptness and professionalism. I wish I had taken pictures because my review isn't going to do it justice. I will be using them again!

We had Palmetto's Smokehouse cater our Clemson Tailgate last weekend. The food and service was absolutely amazing. Irv and Jim were very responsive and helped our group of 15 from NY make everything go smooth! The food was absolutely delicious. Southern BBQ as you would picture it. We enjoyed the pulled pork and brisket, along with some mac and cheese and chicken wings. The highlight of the meal may have been the cajun brochettes. My only regret was not ordering more of those!

Okay when we 1st went here it was excellent!! so we decided to try it again. We ordered wings, peel and eat shrimp, Brunswick stew, and the fried green, tomato BLT, and the cookie with ice cream. The wings were probably the smallest I've ever seen. However, they did taste good. Same with the shrimp tiny little shrimp, but the taste was OK. I asked for just a small portion of the Brunswick stew and they brought me this enormous portion, and it almost taste like it had been cooking for days and days. The taste was not good. Then the BLT was excellent. The server then asked us if we wanted a dessert and we said yes will take the skillet cookie with ice cream. Unaware that it takes actually 30 minutes for this. The server should have notified us of this when she suggested desserts. It wasn't until about 25 minutes after sitting there that my son noticed a sign closer to the door that said the cookie takes 30 minutes. We ended up getting it to go. And it was nothing special besides a chocolate chip cookie with chocolate sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. so needless to say it was very disappointing. I wish the server would have been more informative and let us know that we were going to be sitting there waiting 30 minutes for a cookie with ice cream. Do not get the Brunswick stew and if you don't mind little bitty wings, I guess it's OK. However, the BLT sandwich is great.

Overpriced, bland food, and terrible service. The fact that this is in top 15 restaurants in Clemson speaks volumes to poor quality of food options here. The biggest issue I had was the excessive use of Old Bay or whatever terrible seasoning that was. I mean come on guys, it even coated the rims of the plate. Also, they must be anti-sodium there because I didn’t taste a lick of salt on anything. The fried shrimp: bland and greasy like a microwaved chicken nugget. The fries were cold and hard, and for whatever reason, sweet— also topped with old bay. The best thing I had were the onion rings and they were over-battered and bland. My group got the Cajun brochette appetizer and all we got were four small balls and they cost $12… The service was about as bad as the food too. The waiter only came to our table three times and all of them were to take our order or bring us food. None of us even got a refill. He didn’t even come to the table to give us the check. We had to get up and find him because we were tired of waiting.

We have eaten in this establishment many times and never had a complaint. Today I have to say we were very disappointed, first the service was horrible, our waitress was eating food off the serving counter. My food sat on the warming counter for at least 20 minutes, and was cold when I finally got it, I ate a half of my cold burger and didn't touch the cold fries! The drinks, Tito's with soda water and a splash of orange tasted like sprite with a splash of orange, the Tiger rum punch wasn't any better. My husband's wings were literally swimming in the sauce! My husband said to end on a positive note, his draft beer was cold. Needless to say, we will not be back.

The fries looked like what was left in the bottom of the basket. The oyster medley smelled old. Oysters should smell like fresh ocean water, not old socks. The beer was fantastic!Parking: Not sure where to park

The staff was short and service was terrible. Waited 25 to be asked if we wanted a drink. The food wasn’t great or good. The only thing that made can say was tasty was the low country boil …. Stay away from the Brunswick stew, it was awful. Restaurant is written up on website as a Clemson go to, but the service was bad and the food wasn’t worth going.
