The Fancy That Bistro NEVER had a diner at Middleborough Condos at 1825 St Julian Place. Bistro is located in downtown Columbia. The FOOD seems to be authentically prepared in a Commercial Kitchen at St Julian Place and transported to the restaurant in Downtown Columbia. I have had few interactions with staff as they are at the Restaurant Location in Columbia. They are pleasant in rare contacts. I don’t know their Business Plan or why they have reviews from many years ago. REMEMBER there is No restaurant in friendly MIDDLEBOROUGH Condominiums !! Hope this helps with so much misinformation about this Downtown Columbia Bistro ❤️

Fancy That catered my daughter's wedding and the food was delicious! Everyone raved about it. Harvey was great to work with and easy to get in touch with. He is very quick to respond to emails. All in all a wonderful event!

We had the Southern Breakfast catered at our wedding reception and we ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Honestly the best Breakfast food I have had! The staff were so sweet and very friendly! They even fixed us to go plates to take home with us! We were highly satisfied with everything and we HIGHLY recommend Fancy That Bistro & Catering for your next event! Cancelled on me a week prior to event because I questioned his original quote vs new quote with less food, and then suggested I went to KFC or Bojangles, very racist comment !!!!

I had a tasting set up through my planner. I drove from Charlotte looking forward to tasting the food. When I called to speak to Harvey, he said he didn’t have my name down after I had already drove there. I called my planner to confirm the date and time, and she sent a screenshot of Harvey confirming said date and time. I called back to see what could be done. He answered the phone with an attitude and did not try to fix the mix up on his end because he had the wrong date in his calendar. In fact, he hung up in my face when I was trying to see if we could reschedule. On one hand I’m at peace knowing how they conduct business now rather than on my wedding day. Would hate to have unprofessional staff at such a special event. On top of that he told me he hated working with planners when he’s the one who got the date wrong. How narcissistic and rude.

catered my wedding this weekend and it was awful. food showed up but flavor was left behind. even sent the wrong vegetable for one the meals. vegetables are from a can with no real seasoning on cooking to them. meat was dry and flavor less. Definitely would not recommend. staff was friendly but really only served food.
Their catering service and attention to detail wss absolutely beyond expectations. Everyone loved the food and I received nothing but positive feedback on how delicious it all was. The gentlemen that were on staff that evening were very professional, courteous and very friendly. I will definitely recommend you for future events.

I called Harvey a week ahead of time and ordered lasagna for 10 people for my mom's 80th birthday. Harvey was friendly and professional, however when I showed up and called at the scheduled time to pick up my order Harvey said he completely forgot about it and didn't have it. He was very sorry but there was nothing he could do. So my family and I showed up at my mom's office to surprise her with nothing. We ended up ordering amazing pizza from Very's, however we were all disappointed that this happened with Fancy That. I would advise everyone to at least call and confirm their order before their event. I sure wish I had done that, but unfortunately Harvey's confidence was contageous and I didn't call the day before to confirm.

This place has moved to St. Julian Place in Middleburg. I believe they are occupying a commercial kitchen in one of the residential buildings. They are a welcome addition. I believe they currently do take home meals and of course catering. But they are also doing home cooking lunch deliveries in the area for $10. You get a drink, a daily special, cheeseburger, or salad and a dessert and they bring it to you. Great deal. Food is home cooking like your mama makes it but significantly higher quality than Lizards Thicket.
