Usually crowded and a bit of a wait for food and seating. Wish it was bigger, but the food is always really good and large portions.

Food was good but they have cut corners by less fries with their burgers and no refills on their fountain drinks that cost 5 dollars. It's just ridiculous for something that wouldn't break their bottom line. It just ruins the experience of coming to the zoo.

I remember meeting Charlie the giraffe as one of the starring attaction here at Riverbanks zoo! But I'm absolutely thrilled to say his legacy has been carried on via the special of the day here at Tuskers restaurant. The Charlie dish of the day featured a rich and unique texture that's totally unique to anything I've ever tasted. Talk about an exquisite and exotic way to commemorate the life of Charlie. I wish all zoos would show every individual animal which once provided joy and excitement around the park, such a beautiful exit from our world. Cheers to Riverbanks Zoo for making this sad event, into something truly beautiful. And to Charlie, you will be missed ❤️ #tasty.

Recommended dishes: Chicken Tenders and Fries
Most of the servers behind the counter were nice and helpful. Food was insanely expensive for what it is. Two chicken tenders with fries was $16+. The kids mac was frou frou with panko bread crumbs and a lot of seasoning. While I though it tasted good, my kid wouldn’t eat it at all. The reusable cup also did not come with a straw which defeats the purpose of the cup being reusable with a lid imho. There was no ac in the dining room and it was incredibly loud. Overall, I don’t think we would eat here again. We will just bring our own lunch and eat in the car.

The food is good but overpriced as you are paying for the experience of buying food in the zoo. The service could use some work as the staff were curt. Short, slightly annoyed, and to the point. The atmosphere was beautiful as you have the opportunity to eat overlooking the alligators' enclosure, but the tables were not cleaned off.
Dietary restrictions: They had gluten-free options for buns, as well as healthier power bowl options for those trying to eat healthy.
Kid-friendliness: They do a kids menu, limited as it may be.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to access the door.

For me and my husbands first time going the zoo overall was an amazing experience the people were very friendly, it is when we went to Tuskers where most of the workers had bad attitudes, the food was too costly to be given cold chicken tenders and fries. The girl who checked us out by the name of Kaylee was very argumentive smart in the mouth gave the hardest time giving us a refund and just overall rude and because of this experience we don’t ever want to come back we left earlier than we wanted our vibe was gone. It’s probably not usually bad at Tuskers but I will never know at this point.

The black bean burger and fries were ready quickly and tasted great. Good thing there are napkins on the table though it's almost impossible not to lick your fingers. ?
Vegetarian options: Not many options for vegetarians but the black bean burger was a good one.

Almost certain the burger isn’t 100% beef. Tastes like it’s mixed with soy protein like school lunch. Group of 4 cost $70 and there’s no service and the food is

Nice place to eat with family and friends.
We were there for lunch.Vegetarian citizens should not eat there. This was completely black and therefore not edible. The fries were also kept warm for a longer period of time, so they were very limp. The prices are definitely too high for this meal.
