“My family and I are out of towners we were on a college tour weekend. We were late getting into Columbia and wanted a good dinner. The reviews led us to Mr. Friendly's. It was a Saturday night, and we had no reservations, but were there late and so there was a table available. The experience started with the helpful woman at valet. She was so friendly and accommodating. She recommended the fried green tomatoes, which were great. The appetizers and mains were excellent, but the sides of creamy grits and greens were the best I've had. They also had a great beer and wine selection and excellent pricing. Definitely a satisfying experience, and I would go back again anytime.”

“I finally made it to the Cinnamon Roll Deli! I had the Low Country Shrimp & Grits, coffee, the not so mini cinnamon roll and a Apple Cobbler Cinnamon Roll.First the customer service was great! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The shrimp and grits were absolutely delicious, the shrimp were pretty big, seasoned well and had this smoky flavor to them.The coffee is delicious I had the opportunity to try Southern Pecan, Cinnamon Roll, and Jamaican Me Crazy, all delicious.And those cinnamon rolls Aah-mazing”

“cinnamon roll - when I saw the cinnamon rolls at Wingards Nursery I wasn't impressed. they looked like a giant chunk of bread with a glob of icing haphazardly slapped on top. I asked the young man working, have you tried these? what do you think of them? he said, oh my God best thing you will eat. $5...ok I'll try it. later same day, I sliced that roll like a loaf of bread. noting the thick ribbons of creamy sweet cinnamon in my slice. I microwaved my slice for 10 seconds...took my 1st bite... savoured the delicious, perfectly sweet homemade cinnamon roll....and had another slice. I'll definitely be back for another! I'll definitely be sharing with others! one bite of that not so pretty giant chunk of bread with icing slapped on and I had an epiphany...one of the best cinnamon rolls around!!!!!”

“It is so amazing when you have a hidden gem in your city. Di Vinno Rosso gives you beautiful ambiance, great food, drinks, and a romantic feel. The appetizer meatballs were so fresh and flavorful. I had the Bolognese was off the charts good. Wifey had the chicken parm. I've never seen it like this, but the pesto on top of the pounded round chicken was so juicy and flavorful we both were blown away. It's the best parm in Columbia! The dessert was really good also. With drinks, our bill was still under $145. The manager was super nice.. he took our picture and gave us a complimentary Italian drink. We'll definitely be regulars here in the future. 5 stars deserved. Great food and service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

The scallops were served with three sauces. One was a creamy dill sauce, another was a savory balsamic sauce and the other was chive oil with drops of cholula hot sauce. Out of the three, all of us loved the chive oil with hot sauce the most! It was divine and even complimented the Brussels. The service we received was great! She even brewed a fresh pot of coffee when I asked, how old was what we got the first time? I wish we lived closer to the store, I would be there every day that she was there I wished I had her name she was amazing. I know she had her children with her that day she's a very tall lady. You need to make sure you keep this waitress. She needs to be one of your best trainers if you could just get them all to be as wonderful as she was you would have a great store. Not that I'm saying anybody else was bad. The store was very busy and they were all taking care of their customers very well. Thank you for keeping the meaning of WAFFLE HOUSE alive and working. One thing I want to complain about is that it's always too cold in the stores.Parking: Parking lots are small and of course the WAFFLE HOUSE is usually busy. “I ordered the Alfredo Fries and Lamb Gyro. The fries were nice and crispy just like I asked for. The Alfredo fries were great. Nice and flavorful. The lamb Gyro was good. I lived in Europe for three years. I used to eat, gyros all of the time fresh off of the roller. I have a higher standard than most people for a Gyro. The Gyro at this location was OK. It was not amazing and it was not bad, it's right in the middle. The Tzatziki sauce was extremely cucumbery. They should use less cucumber next time. The sauce overall was about a five out of ten, it was average. The overall atmosphere inside of the restaurant is great. There is plenty of seating and a nice bar. They do not sell liquor at this location but they do have wine and beer that you can buy. The waitress was wonderful. She made sure I had everything that I needed and that I was ok.”

Ordered appetizers mainly... the Brussel Sprouts were so good we ordered another. I was disappointed by the mussels, but could have been a fluke. It's the only reason I didn't give it a 5. My biggest surprise was the Philly sandwich. Growing up in Philly, I can't help to sample out of state versions always disappointed. Goat's with it's namesake cheese was special... it didn't attempt to imitate and created something all their own. If you love steak and melted cheese, go for it. Last but not least was the great service and the amazing menu of cocktails. Will definitely come back. We chose the patio since it was a nice day. Our waitress was so sweet and consistent, she kept us in the loop about everything going on like happy hour and the prices during it. We tried the Bangkok Shrimp and Pork Gyoza as our appetizers. They tasted so spot on and delicious. Then right after we finished with our appetizers, our meals came out right in time. I got the Pad Kapow and my boyfriend got the Pork Belly Ba Mee. The Pad Kapow was very good, it has marinate chicken with bell peppers and some other vegetables. It not spicy, instead its very sweet and savory. The Pork Belly Ba Mee has very thinly sliced marinate sweet pork belly, with savory sweet noodles along with the topping of a kick of spicy chili. I very much recommend this place if your looking for trying something new and interesting along with trying something sweet & spicy. ?️ ??”

We set a reservation and anticipated the sushi chef per the pictures to be there, but we were informed due to COVID, he was required to retire. It appeared that there were college students rolling sushi instead. However, the sushi was rolled well and LOVED that the nigiri included the little dab of wasabi under the fish, which is the correct way to roll sushi. Another fact that made me really happy to hear is they cut and prepare the fish in house, that's cool! Calvin brought out this white soy sauce for the sushi and that paired so well! My only complaint was they do not sell beer or liquor at this time as they were in the process of updating their license. Green tea is just fine though. If you want ACTUAL authentic Japanese sushi cuisine, you have to come here!!”

They were extremely easy to book and the price fit our budget perfectly. The owners of the truck were so nice and the food came out so quickly. All of my colleagues were raving about the tacos, bowls, quesadillas and even went back for seconds so they could try the rest of the menu! I personally got the Matadors Arena Rice Bowl and a side of chips and guac and it was DELICIOUS, all the ingredients were so fresh and the guacamole was fantastic. He’s eaten here 3-4 times a month for years, and we both agree that this place merits between a 4.25 and a 4.5 if Google offer greater review granularity. Good to great service, fresh, tasty food usually served without too much wait, but the key sticking point was value for money. We’ve both left hungry before when portions proved too small. I’m chubby, and this wouldn’t be fair on my input alone, but he’s the proverbial skinny stick without much appetite, and if he leaves hungry, the portions could be better-sized.Edit: My son pointed out you could just get one of their delicious desserts if you still have room!”

“I'm not even big on seafood, but this place is delicious!! They have specials all the time. We ordered the bags, 1/2 shrimp, sausage, egg, potatoes.. very good flavor 10.99. Fresh from the kitchen. The shrimp are large. Also got the bag 1lb crab legs,the crab legs are a pretty good sized, corn, and potatoes 19.99, also came with choice of flavor (we did garlic butter medium). Legs weren't over cooked, easy to crack. There was also muscles tries that im told were delicious. The wings are good as well, traditional. I always order catfish to go because it's my favorite thing there. It's not overly breaded, and the flavor is genuine. It doesn't taste fishy at all. Went 3 times in 1 month, is how good they are. We went during lunch time and twice for dinner. It is spacious and they give you everything you need to enjoy your meal without making a mess, including bibs and gloves. Highly recommend!!”

“Sam, the owner is SO kind! I had an issue with my loaded fry. My fries were fried really hard which make them crunchy and not enjoyable to eat. I did not know the name of the food truck nor did I have the contact information to contact the owner. I also didn't feel like driving back to the food truck once I got home because it was so busy. I kept the food for a week in hopes to see her the following Friday. I drove to town that Friday and she was in the same location so I spoke to her about my issue. Even though, I did not have the food with me to show her proof they I wasn't trying to get over, she still replaced the food. I could tell she was skeptical while conversing but she still decided to rectify the issue because she appreciates her customers. This was my second time earing at the food truck and I must say I will be a long time customer. She is professional, has extraordinary service, and the food is delicious!! YOU MUST TRY IT!!!”

In this case, this restaurant is phenomenal and my first time going here so listen up I’m about to put y’all on game.Their Chicken Tikka Masala is nothing short of exceptional. Each bite creates a harmonious balance of heat and sweetness that leaves you craving more. Mind you I did order the medium heat. It’s not too spicy at all.As for the Chicken 65, it's a culinary masterpiece nuff said. I don’t know what they do or how they make it, but it’s fire. Each piece of chicken is bursting with flavor, making it a true delight for the senses. I also ordered the medium heat.I’ve traveled to a lot of places around the globe and overall, J&J's Curry and Biriyani ranks in the top 3 best Indian food I’ve had. This is like the second time I've had Hibachi cooked in front of me, but the food was delicious. The rice was flavorful and went so well with the meats that I had with it. Chicken and pork belly. That pork belly? Melted in my mouth. I unfortunately do not remember the name of the young man and lady who served us, but well done. I practically inhaled my dish before the young man was finished coming all the meat that went with it. Pork belly and chicken for dessert, lol? I wouldn't mind returning during a busier hour to take in the atmosphere with my family, on my own, or even with a date. But again, it was Easter. Next time. The manager even pulled me aside and told me that he liked seeing an empty plate. Everyone else got to go plates. But with food that good, it's almost impolite NOT to finish it. We walked in and Shakur didn’t have us waiting. She stopped what she was doing to seat us at a booth and ask for our drinks. Everything was perfect! “We’ve been looking forward to visiting the TRH. It was packed but we were seated quickly. The waitress was awesome very attentive and didn’t miss anything in our order. I was delighted to finally be served a steak done exactly what I expected from TRH. I’m so grateful the inflation hasn’t affected the portions the prices and the flavors. Still authentic, super delicious steak with loaded potato and house salad. Let’s not forget the hot rolls with butter. They got a wee bit smaller but still hot and amazing. The drinks are spot on too.”

“a gem of a spot to get southern food in NE! now it's the south and every claims to have the best of everything but let me tell y'all, without a shadow of a doubt, their food SLAPS! i had the fried chicken platter with the mac n cheese and candied yams. when i tell yall EVERYTHING was seasoned to perfection! the chicken was crispy and juicy. the mac and cheese was CHEESY and the noodles were flavorful. the yams had just enough texture to them. if i could give this 100 stars i would. chris (owner) and his team do a great job of providing not just quick service but a friendly atmosphere as well. this is a to go establishment so there's no seating but the decor is bright and welcoming. lastly, we sampled some of the oxtail and when i tell y'all they were out of this world! not everyone can make oxtails. these were smoked and seasoned to PERFECTION! will definitely be coming back and getting that next time.”

Small plates I've tried the pork & ginger gyoza, crab wontons, beef kimchi dumplings, crispy tuna and they were good as well. My only complaint with the small plates/ appetizers is that it's exactly that lol very small. Definitely not shareable! However they are good. Yakisoba noodles covered with spicy teriyaki chicken was equally good. These folks know how to make food!
