“I love the name. Makes me want to write a Manga about Hibachi Boy and his omega-cooking prowess in little big town Easley. He can battle against the Southern mascots and their unique Southern hibachi cooking skills. The cooking style will be Soubachi, a mixture of soul food and different Asian cuisine, I mean they both cook in layers and fry everything. Lots of msg and pork fat. It'll be a bang for the buds, and plenty of game time in the potty. Marketing done. Eat at Hibachi boy. Yeeeeuuuummtastic.“
“Small, locally owned Japanese place - very eclectic inside, greeted and had wonderful service, and the food was quick, hot, and delicious! I think a different vegetable besides the carrots would have suited me better, but still good all the same. This place also has a drive thru, in which, during our entire dining experience inside, there were a minimum of two cars going through! Clearly a local pick for food and would go again! I had the teriyaki shrimp ??“
“We love coming to Dozo for hibachi and sushi. The chefs are a hoot and do a great job. The kids love to come for the show. The food is delicious also. There are quite a few younger servers in their teens or twenties, but they do a great job. However, there are older waitresses (30s or 40s) who are unpleasant. One time, one of these servers yelled out loud at us to take our order. Very unnecessary. I've tried to make reservations with one of them before and been told to call back later. For this reason, we've started going to the Easley location.“
“I have had really good experiences at this Chinese restaurant. I recently made an online order and selected the incorrect item. When I came to pick it up, they were prompt to correct my mistake and make the order I requested. They remade the order quickly and kindly. The food is flavorful and well priced. The menu is extensive so some items are hit or miss. I am not a fan of the crab rangoon but classic Chinese dishes like chicken and vegetables or fried rice are well executed. They are open later than most restaurants in Easley. This is definitely a take spot. I would not suggest dine-in as the ambiance is not as charming as the staff. However, I have dined in before, so it's doable. I would definitely recommend this spot for a tasty bite when you're in Easley. Few restaurants here execute a meal as well as they do here.“
