This placed is closed! Tried going there for lunch today before my jury summons. There is a "Farmhouse Diner" sign where the "Duke's Dogs" sign used to be! Super bummed. ?EDIT: Apparently the owner sold thatlocation to "Farmhouse Diner" and is moving to where the "Taco Taco" restaurant used to be. We'll see!

The part that set it off for me is when the owner was screaming racial slurs. They barely had any food options, I was given a plate that had been re-heated in the microwave and half of it was cold. All the tables were dirty, and the owner was screaming and cursing the whole entire time I was in there. “Duke’s on Main” is one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever eaten in. Sweet tea was the only thing I have good to say about this place.

I ordered hot dogs with chili, onions, and mustard with a side of collard greens. The food was very good and ready pretty quickly. Definitely going back!

The grits had what taste like to me cheddar cheese and sausage. We didn't care for them. The gravy was on the sweet side. They need just buttered grits. My scrambled egg and toast and coffee were just right. Very very nice people.

Dukes is a unique place, and I mean that in a good way. He's open when he's open and closed when he is closed. It's a no nonsense place to eat that makes you feel like you went to eat at your uncle's house. Not a place to eat if you get offended at every little thing, but great to go to if you just want a decent no frills meal at a good price.
Best hotdogs around. The owner is a great man. Their meals are really good. Very friendly place.

Ok let's just put it this way. I have found a new place to eat. The staff is wonderful everyone is nice. The food is super. I highly recommend you try this place out I'm very sure you will love it and will be back. I know I can't wait to go back and try out the lunch.
