The sushi is a bit different from what we are used to, it didn’t have much flavor and was a bit warm when we picked it up. For the price I wouldn’t recommend sushi here.

Spent $50 tonight just to have my order picked up by the wrong person for starters, they had to bring my order back then my steak is overcooked and chewy my wife's steak was also overcooked and chewy. She got the hibachi steak and chicken. I got the Teriyaki Chicken steak and shrimp. The Teriyaki sauce is to thick and doesn't give that Teriyaki taste you want in Teriyaki chicken. They don't hardly give you any shrimp as well. Will not be eating here again.

I love the name. Makes me want to write a Manga about Hibachi Boy and his omega-cooking prowess in little big town Easley. He can battle against the Southern mascots and their unique Southern hibachi cooking skills. The cooking style will be Soubachi, a mixture of soul food and different Asian cuisine, I mean they both cook in layers and fry everything. Lots of msg and pork fat. It'll be a bang for the buds, and plenty of game time in the potty. Marketing done. Eat at Hibachi boy. Yeeeeuuuummtastic.

I decided to try this place and was not disappointed! I ordered several of the sushi rolls. The rolls take a while to prepare and there were several orders ahead of me. The kitchen was efficient and got the food out quickly. The rolls were tasty and held together as they should. The one negative thing of the entire experiencewas the soy sauce. It was salt and tasteless. Soy sauce for Sushi is supposed to be sweeter and less salty.

We used to eat here weekly and loved it. We moved out of Easley but visited twice in the last month. I think the cook may have changed. The meat was so tough and salty that I couldn't eat it.

Use to be my favorite place to eat in Easley until I ate here last week and found fly larvae in my food. If you plan on eating here keep an eye out for tiny worms mixed in with your rice and veggies!
