“Great bbq in a variety of styles. Brisket was tender and juicy and my favorite of the three meats I tried. Ribs had a slightly sweet coating but not over the top. No need for sauce! Tender as well. Pulled pork was eastern North Carolina style with a spicy vinegar flavor. You’ll hate it if you don’t like that style. (Would help if the menu were more descriptive). Wife loved the lobster roll, compared it favorably to Maine’s!Didn’t try the wings but they looked great! No liquor license yet but they sell beer. If you get lost it’s in the same building as Ella & Olly but without a sign. Beside the clubhouse.Nice alternative to every other restaurant on the island that sells fried shrimp!“
“We stopped in for lunch today, we got Brisket Tacos & Blackened Fish Tacos. They were absolutely delicious! The space has ample space and a great ambiance. Sweet tea was good and server was very friendly! Would definitely eat here again!“
“Nice space on the second floor of a building with a large bar and tables spaced out enough for a fair amount of privacy. Apparently sharing ownership with the Waterfront Restaurant, which is also on the island. Their raw oysters were pretty good and tasted fresh, but I wasn't impressed with anything else. I had a great meal at Waterfront and would go back there instead.Parking: Weird parking lot with concrete barriers in strange places. We went in the offseason so there was plenty of space. During the summertime, I bet the lot fills up especially if the bar on the first floor is open.“
“They have the best shrimp. Right off the boat Edisto shrimp which is the best. They also have a variety of fresh fish. The shrimp and crab dip is also delicious. I want to try their food truck but it's been closed when I go there. I'm always there too early.“
“May I just take a moment and give SeaCow Eatery a chef’s kiss?! The food here was so good and they’re dog friendly. My family and I ordered: clam chowder, mini crab cakes, shrimp po boy, fried oysters/ shrimp/flounder/scallops, grilled scallops and a salad. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Service was great and it is such a laid back cozy restaurant. If I was having a bad day, I would come here and all my problems would go away.I would literally come back to Edisto Island just to eat the food here. This is the type of food where everyone at the table is quiet; because, it’s that good! I wish I would’ve taken pictures; but, I was so hungry that I couldn’t stop eating. Really worth trying!“
“My hosts are Edisto "locals" and were tight with the previous chef PB who passed. His protégé took over and kept a few of his mentor's specialties on the menu. Under the "for the table" section, PB's Butterbeans. A little trough of Butterbeans came out and everyone scooped 4 or 5 forkfulls onto their bread plates. Can't tell you why, but those were the best damn beans I've ever had. The larger dish of fried Brussel Sprouts, same. Just for Starters. Then everyone got their orders at the perfect time, as we were picking pecan bits off the spoutes plate, and the orders of NOLA style BBQ Shrimp, my shrimp and grits, and the fried oysters someone got, the fried flounder the other two guys had and a mahi and clams dish were enjoyed through great conversation and wine and spirits. One of the best meals I've eaten since a dinner in pre-Katrina New Orleans 20 years ago. They stock a great many locally brewed beers, ales, and ciders. They have a full bar and high chairs. Not at the bar, but for kids you may bring along. I didn't see a kids menu, and the $25 pizzas sounded delicious, but my kid wouldn't have thought so. The place is inside some gated community or resort but don't let that keep you from them butterbeans! Just tell whoever is at the guard shack, "We're here for the beans."“
“Enjoyed our meal. Had eaten there during our spring trip to Edisto and enjoyed enough that we revisited during our fall trip. Food is good, service friendly. Grits in the shrimp and grits were "runnier" than we prefer but taste was good. Seemed a bit pricier than in the spring, but what isn't?“
“I just had the shrimp dinner and wow does not do it justice. It came with crispy fried shrimp and hush puppies that were really good the Cole slaw is true southern. Over all this is just a simple but delicious place to eat. I will be back. Thanks for the awesome food keep up the great food.“
“Came a second time just a few days later. Everything was good. New things we tried was the Pimento pork chop, pecan pork chop, tomato pie and Parmesan Groper. The new items were accompanied by some we already knew we liked. Still recommend and Curtis is still an amazing server. Tonight he was very busy but kept everyone happy. The bar was a little louder from extra people but otherwise very nice.“
“Stopped here with a group of 8 family members for a late Sunday lunch. Staff was busy with all the patrons during the Sunday lunch rush so our plates came out at all different times. Many enjoyed their sandwiches and the ‘raw’ fries and the kids meals were satisfactory. However, there are very few gluten free-friendly items due to majority of items being battered/fried (so I ended up with a salad).Dietary restrictions: No cashews/pistachios at the time we went. However, there are very few gluten free friendly items.Kid-friendliness: Great standard kids meal menu with options for games/crossword on the back.“
“By far one of the most delicious meals I've had in a good while. The food was fresh and super delicious, the staff was extremely friendly and courteous! The dessert was to die for. We live locally and after tonight, this will be one of our spots to eat at from now on. My husband and I are very happy we decided to eat here!Vegetarian options: You can choose what you do and don't get in your meals and the veggie options to add to your taco or quesadillas are plentiful.Kid-friendliness: We don't have kids but id bring them with me if I did.Wheelchair accessibility: There were numerous ramps in and out of the restaurant. I recommend to anyone who wants a great dining experience and are looking for access to the dining area via wheelchair accessible ramps.“
“Our final night in Edisto we wanted dinner at the Marina really glad we chose Pressely's our waitress was outstanding always checking on us the food was also excellent we will go back the next time we go to Edisto thank you the Big Bay Boil and key lime pie were “
“Fantastic food. Liked it so much we came back on the second day for lunch again. The crab cake, crab cake sandwich and burger in particular were exceptionally good. Can't wait to come back. The service was really really good. They were packed but our food came quick and our server, Addison was very attentive and kept checking on us.“
“Group of 8 was surprisingly sat quickly for a ~6pm dinner. However we did notice others waiting 20-30 minutes for a table during the rush. They were in process of changing menus so we had multiple hiccups when trying to order (no drink menu available, no wings available, bucket of food/potatoes only available for take out and not dine in). Outside of trying multiple potential menu options we did ultimately enjoy the meals. Wonderful fries! The party ordered kids cheeseburgers, Prime Rib, fish/shrimp, she-crab soup and others. A note for other larger parties, they do automatically add 20% gratuity to the bill. (Also note that the low country boil is only available for takeout.)Dietary restrictions: Only a handful of gluten free options but it worked out for the group.“
