“My hosts are Edisto "locals" and were tight with the previous chef PB who passed. His protégé took over and kept a few of his mentor's specialties on the menu. Under the "for the table" section, PB's Butterbeans. A little trough of Butterbeans came out and everyone scooped 4 or 5 forkfulls onto their bread plates. Can't tell you why, but those were the best damn beans I've ever had. The larger dish of fried Brussel Sprouts, same. Just for Starters. Then everyone got their orders at the perfect time, as we were picking pecan bits off the spoutes plate, and the orders of NOLA style BBQ Shrimp, my shrimp and grits, and the fried oysters someone got, the fried flounder the other two guys had and a mahi and clams dish were enjoyed through great conversation and wine and spirits. One of the best meals I've eaten since a dinner in pre-Katrina New Orleans 20 years ago. They stock a great many locally brewed beers, ales, and ciders. They have a full bar and high chairs. Not at the bar, but for kids you may bring along. I didn't see a kids menu, and the $25 pizzas sounded delicious, but my kid wouldn't have thought so. The place is inside some gated community or resort but don't let that keep you from them butterbeans! Just tell whoever is at the guard shack, "We're here for the beans."”

“Cute little place with surprisingly good food. It really hit the spot after a morning of birding at Botany Bay. Cannot go wrong with the shrimp and grits! Very good service and a homey friendly style. Look forward to returning!”
“Came a second time just a few days later. Everything was good. New things we tried was the Pimento pork chop, pecan pork chop, tomato pie and Parmesan Groper. The new items were accompanied by some we already knew we liked. Still recommend and Curtis is still an amazing server. Tonight he was very busy but kept everyone happy. The bar was a little louder from extra people but otherwise very nice.”

“Fried oysters were outstanding. Crab cake was very nice. Fish and shrimp were average. Craft beer selection was very sparse but passable. Nice dive bar atmosphere. Soup was yummy too.”

“After paying out the nose at a very expensive restaurant where flavor was missing in most of the food, what a refreshing experience to eat at a beach shack with great tasting food at reasonable prices. Honestly, the food here will surprise you. House salad with shrimp and a ginger sesame dressing was fresh and very tasty. Fish tacos were light and flavorful. The Cuban sandwich was a riff on the theme, filled with excellent, smoky pulled pork and a delicious hot honey mustard. The fresh housemade potato chips were honestly addictive. Well done burger with bacon and cheese was still juicy and tasty, and accompanying salad was very fresh. All in all a really nice experience with helpful staff and a fun, easy-going atmosphere.”

“The pizza had a pleasant flavor and the sauce/cheese/toppings were balanced and of decent quality. The crust could use some work, like oiling the bottom before they cook it or something, to improve the mouthfeel and add some crunch. The shop is not much to look at, and the tables inside are too small for plates and a pizza, so a ding on atmosphere. The lady who took my order was super nice.Parking: They're much closer to the North Eastern end of the parking lot.”
“Delicious! Everything was so good, probably going to make a second trip this week!?We got 2 cookie dough stuffed shakes, 1 cookies and cream stuffed shake, and 1 waffle cone with Salty Caramel Truffle & vanilla scoops. My kids were not able to finish their shakes because they are huge! The shakes are expensive but you do get to keep the glass mason jar cup. The cookies and cream stuffed shake was better than the cookie dough, however cookie dough had a ton of mini chocolate chips at the bottom. All the shakes came with an ice cream sandwich on top!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free if you get ice cream without cookies.Parking: Off to the side of the building, can park right next to itKid-friendliness: Perfect place for kids!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair access ramp available to go up into the building right next to the entrance”

“The service and food was amazing! During a very busy yime. Our waitress was patient and efficient. The food was outstanding. Hands down the best lump crab cake that I've ever had in a restaurant. They were huge with true lumps of crab in them. Not at all bread like most. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, and quite tasty.”
“Within OceanRidge, small Cafe with Coffee, Alcohol and goods. There is no freshly prepared food during the off-season. There is take and bake food. They had a variety of smaller items that could be purchased; ornaments and tourist type goods. Close to the main recreational pool, mini-golf, and a playground. Clean restrooms in the area. Walking distance from many residential units. The staff was very friendly. Ample parking, a few spots out front.”

“Pizza is pretty good! Don't listen to the bad reviews it's better than average bar food. I had a good experience and the food was solid. Prices are a tad high but so is life around the beach.”
“Love this place we get ice cream every night there, and plenty of choices think over 20 flavors, tons of candy, and lots of odds and ends beach related in back of store . Anything you may need to enjoy the beach. See u next summer. Thank you... .”

“It was good food but I know we could have something better if we wasn’t in a hurry to order something because they was about to close the kitchen and that is what they don’t specify in goggle maps that they close at 2:00 am but they stop ? serving food at 9:00 ohh well I hope this is help full for somebody!”

“We ordered the Italian subs, and were pleasantly surprised --- they stated our order would take 30 minutes, but it was ready in 15. As far as atmosphere, it's a walk up window; you place your order and wait. The guy was friendly and courteous, even though it was Saturday night and they were slammed.P.S. They were generous with the meat and cheese!”

“Great dinner. They don’t take reservations so you may have to wait but it’s worth it. Pork chop was a little on the small side but tender and well (sweet) seasoned. The grilled shrimp are Cajun spiced, the fried flounder was just good. BEST cheesecake I’ve have EVER eaten! Wine was reasonable with a good variety. Overall a great experience, with the drive and the wait.”

“Had a great dinner last night at Saveurs du Monde Cafe Seabrook Island. Three out of four of us had the scallops and one had the branzino. All were fabulous, including the French 75s. Highly recommend.”
“We're not big fans of the muscadine and scuffinine wine, but our daughter loves to go here to see the animals. Especially looking for Ida Clare in the vineyard! It's such a nice place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the country!”

“We love going to get a quick bite here and watch the sunset! We always get our food to go and they go sit out by the docks and enjoy the sunset. Salty Dog next door usually has live music too that you can enjoy! ?Kid-friendliness: Our daughter loves running around and dancing to the music!”
“We stopped in for lunch today, we got Brisket Tacos & Blackened Fish Tacos. They were absolutely delicious! The space has ample space and a great ambiance. Sweet tea was good and server was very friendly! Would definitely eat here again!”

“Nice space on the second floor of a building with a large bar and tables spaced out enough for a fair amount of privacy. Apparently sharing ownership with the Waterfront Restaurant, which is also on the island. Their raw oysters were pretty good and tasted fresh, but I wasn't impressed with anything else. I had a great meal at Waterfront and would go back there instead.Parking: Weird parking lot with concrete barriers in strange places. We went in the offseason so there was plenty of space. During the summertime, I bet the lot fills up especially if the bar on the first floor is open.”

“Food was great! I got the bacon turkey wrap twice, with fries! Great fries that are seasoned! It’s was around $12.50 for lunch special wrap and fries! Automatic gratuity is added to every bill, either 10-20% I can’t remember.”
“Our server Ellie was exceptional! We had a lovely meal on a brisk winter day. The sheet crab soup is delicious and the lobster grilled cheese is amazing. Wonderful food and great service!”

“Once again, using great value deals on the app, I pulled in the parking lot and found some good food. I had to run some errands early morning so I swung by and got a deal on a biscuit and got another deal for lunch on my way home. Both stops were fast and correct and put together great this time! But dislike the "stengenous" practice all the fast food places have on giving me the items that are supposed to be on the Dang sandwich anyway.(Don't get me started on the core left on the green tomato that was sliced verticaly. Or using the bitter thick white lettuce core end. That's common sense!) Just seems like more and more than times before, nobody cares about the presentation of quality craftsmanship when selling people food. SAD.”

“Super delicious seafood and Hawaiian cuisine. Nice, friendly service that is very attentive. Prices are moderate but reasonable. The portions are sufficient and also varied. Clear recommendation!”
