“We were two friends from Germany and discovered this restaurant by chance. It was the best pizza on our trip so far, especially the meat pizza - everything a man's heart desires.However, I am writing the review today not only because of the delicious pizza, but also because of the very good service.Bianca, one of the friendliest and most personable people I have ever met, looked after us very well and gave us helpful information about the city, history and local life.Bianca, if you are reading this and you would like to have another friend from Germanyand keep in touch, just write to me on Instagram. “First of all. Looks like The Breakfast Nook has recently moved and is now inside The Rodeway Inn. Seems like the name is different as well as my receipt showed “Rodeway Cafe” as the name as did a previous google reviewer. A large window decal stills says The Breakfast Nook. Beyond that, wife and I had an excellent breakfast there. Portion size is very generous! Food was very tasty and cooked just right. Our server was very friendly. The restaurant itself is large and clean. Wasn’t very busy but I suspect the location and lack of clear signage is confusing people. We drove all the way around the hotel before realizing it was inside. Overall, an enjoyable meal.”

“I was visiting my boyfriend’s family and needed a break(from him, not them) so I rolled up around 45 mins before closing and you would’ve thought they had 4 more hours! The service and the extra mile was top notch! The food…Aaaahmazing! I ordered the brim (iykyk) and initially was told they were out but the server went and found some herself and Babay…it was off the chain! I’m just mad they’re closed today lolOne of the sweet ladies made me a drink and they were cool with me just chilling there, and the prices were MORE than reasonable!”

“We loved our stay at Clark’s Inn. The rooms were nice and clean. Very dog friendly. Free breakfast was also included for each morning. We ate breakfast everyday, and ate dinner one night. The food was amazing and service was spectacular. If we ever come back this way we will definitely stay here again.”

“It's a small town mom and pop feel very cozy dinner! The owner is a super super nice lady. She always had a smile on her face. I am so glad she had a menu on Google for me to see cause I was so tired of fastfood normal places. Everything was cooked perfectly! I'm going to be honest I wish we had more of her Bleu market cafe in different places... Like in Dalton or Ringgold GA hint hint... Lol I'm just kidding.. “The CLARK'S INN is a local historic icon which has stood like a gem among the encroaching hustle and bustle of the "modern " world. It is an absolutely marvelous repite for anyone heading north or coming south on the I-95!I have not had the pleasure of staying here (their Bed & Breakfast stay packages look reasonable) but every chance I get I stop to stroll through their fascinating gift shop, beautiful old hallways and relish in their antique dining areas.The bar had the friendly and efficient PAM (THANKS!!!) who brought out a delicious chicken salad sandwich on a crispy ciabatta bun. This filled me up and I could only have a bit of the delicious APPLE CRISP which I finished later from my take-away box.(THANK YOU CHEF and the kitchen staff!!!)SO happy this place has survived all these years, and especially after the COVID problems. If you are ever in the area I seriously suggest you treat yourself.Food & drinks: Read my review...............”

“This place was great. We got the Cream Cheese jalapeños poppers, and the corn dog bites, and they were both delicious. Our server Heather, was incredibly attentive and friendly, and the pool tables have great felt on them. I will also say, I saw a review below that they don’t welcome people of color, but during our time here(3 hours), there was a person of color at the bar having a good time the entire time, so I’m not sure what that’s about. 5/5 We’ll be back. 3/2024Parking: Parking wraps around the entire business.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. “Taco Tuesday on our way home from Maryland to Florida. Excellent service, excellent food, we had a speedy Gonzalo’s and 2 taco Tuesday taco specials. They both hit the spot after driving for several hours. If you on I95 nearing Santee definitely stop by for food and a margarita! we will be back!”

“Small ice cream shop attached to a seafood restaurant. We actually ate elsewhere and just popped in for an ice cream. They have the Hershey ice cream and about 32 flavors to pick from. This is also a gift shop as well with lots of cute gifts to purchase. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and she patiently waited for us to decide what flavor we wanted. The small is a generous 2 scoops and the large 3. Prices were very reasonable, and they have so many flavors to pick from that it's impossible to not find at least one you want!”

“Ordered Pad See Ew and it was by far one of the best Pad See Ews I have ever had. All of the veggies and noodles were perfectly cooked and lightly charred. “Coming back up the coast from Florida to New England. I stopped in this little town and found this really great spot. They’re open late with pool tables. The bartenders Dani is super cute and very attentive. I just got the salad with chicken and everything was fresh and very tasty. Prices were right on the money. It’s actually located in the Rodeo Inn motel but tucked out in the back”

“Best gas prices on the road! We saw other places before and after for 5 to 10 cents more. Today 2/21/23 it was $3.09 for regular. One of the pumps was out of order so we had to move to another one. The store seemed clean, and the bathrooms were fine - paper towels instead of the irritating blow dryers.”

“Went to three different fast food places in Santee, terrible service and wait times, and honestly kinda scary watching these employees working or trying to, so went to Subway, quite there too but they were absolutely the best Subway I've been to. They obviously must own the store and I hope they do well, they deserve it, there's a reason they're four stars and everyone else is 1-2 stars.”

“The place was packed when we sat down as our table was the last one available. The 2 waitress that were working were busting their butt's to try to get to everyone as fast as they could. They were tag teaming tables even if it was not there table. None of the workers were complaining about how busy it was and there was not a break for them in site. The food came out quick and was hot and delicious. I will say my overall experience was better than anticipated.”

“The server was the best part. Restaurant had a small brownout while we were there. Server said they've not had soup for a while. In fact, I overheard another server right off the bat tell their customers what they were out of. My wife ordered the Buffalo ranch chicken on Mac and cheese($11.49) 3 small tenders in a small bowl of Mac. Nothing like the picture, wife not impressed. The place just had a sad vibe.”

“One of the better McDonalds off I-95 and definitely better compared to other fast food places off I-95 I've stopped off at.Positives = electrical outlets to plug into, clean dining area and restrooms and right off I-95 so you won't get lost or confused, it's next to the Clark's RestaurantNegatives = parking is tight even in off season non summer travel and you may get asked for money outside the McDonalds in the parking lot or hear 1 crazy guy mumbling inside the McDonalds, hard to say as I'm not there everyday to know if that's a one time situation or not”
