We live very close to Delmae so its our every day/convenient stop. Never have we ever been disappointed. Love the staff! They even know what we are getting and have it ready for us when they see us walking in! The burgers and chip fries are AMAZING!!!!!

I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews of this place but opted to give it a try. Sis, their house made, hand-cut, french fries are absolutely amazing. I asked for mine well-done, extra crispy, and they more than obliged my request. I was taking my order home to eat, and I know that sealing crispy fries into a Styrofoam container can make them soggy, so I went ahead and opened up a little to allow it to vent on the way. They were still amazing when I reached home.The burger, which I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, was huge. I was expecting two very thin patties, and I could not have been more wrong. They were cooked well, very flavorful, and the order was prepared exactly as I requested. The only thing that I am not a huge fan of is their bun which has a bit of sweet taste.This place is seriously underrated.

This is by far the worst place I ever eaten. I ordered a two piece snack for $5.25. The chicken in the display case looked old. However being that I have eaten there multiple times in the past I wasn't overly concerned, especially since the cook said, "she was going to drop some more chicken. Five minutes later my order was ready. To my dismay the chicken tasted like dried up cardboard, although I drenched it in hot sauce and ketsup, there was no salvaging this meal. Perhaps the cook did prepare more chicken, it just wasn't for me. I must say the food tasted better when Old Delmae was just a Moms and Pops hole in the wall. I would rather have good food in a raggedy establishment as opposed to nasty food in a nice establishment. If you like greasy cardboard rubbery chicken then this is the place for you. When those old Caucasian people and that young African American crew was there the food was always country lickin good.

Close the grill at 2:00! My husband left at 3:00 to get two double cheeseburger boxes and tenders which they did not have. It is now 4:06 and two of the cheeseburger boxes fries are cold, he was charged for someone else's meal although was reimbursed for that. This is why I personally stop going to this establishment at least 3 years ago. There's absolutely no excuse for the lack of service preparedness and attentiveness which led him to spend over 50 minutes waiting for food.

Cashier was very pleasant. I ordered a full hot dog box and a cheeseburger box to go. I ordered extra onions on the cheeseburger but did not get them. Could not eat the french fries in either box because they were burnt soggy and tough like they had been cooked 2 days ago Re cooked and burnt and sat there to get tough. I will not be back. I would rather drive all the way out to the Sunrise Restaurant where are the food is freshly cooked . wish I could post a picture of the sorry wasted2.5 pounds of french fries that looked like limp burnt shoe strings and tasted about as bad ? $16.50 wasted. Please give options to post picsI did not say that the hamburger was not fresh.I said the supposedly fresh French fries were burnt soggy and tough. So in the plain truth I paid $1660 for 2 hot dogs 1 cheeseburger and 25 lbs of burnt soggy French friesWhen Brandi worked there. She would have never let any french fries go out like that ! My thing is, I feel like every time I go up there, another patron is getting into an argument with someone up there. More often than not, it's people arguing for the sake of arguing. If I want that experience, I'll go to Medieval Times.

Concerned customer
I don't know if its my place here but I walked in to get some food and a drink today. The cook woman cook was bullying some Hispanic worker there. She dances around and acts like others don't matter. That's not a great experience my first time in the store there to me. I deal with mental behavior daily and I know she made that boy feel bad about whatever it was. I just felt bad for him people shouldn't have to take things like that in a work place. The food was ok though.
