“A little upset with my service yesterday. There was an event for my kiddos school and we used to eat here all the time. My grandpa is Filipino so it was nice! Their chicken lumpia is absolutely delicious but the person taking my order messed up my order, and when I asked them to fix it, they told me no, I would have to pay again for what I wanted because the cashier apparently misheard me so my son had to wait until we got home to eat something else.“
“I have to good fortune to meet & chat with owner, Charles for a good length of time last week. He's a true gentleman with a vision. His Italian botega/market/restaurant is nothing short of unique, especially in the South. Very close to what you'd find in Italy. An amazing array of items from excellent wine to Italian food stuffs to awesome pastry! They cater as well & their food & presentation is worth the trip!! I was fortunate enough to meet the bakers as well, who hail from Rome. It doesn't get more Italian than that! A wonderful find that you'd expect to find in Italy but is easily found on Mixson Ave. in North Charleston, SC.“
“So glad I stopped in at this place!I've been looking for a decent Filipino food since moving out here, and this place definitely hits the spot!Parking is a little bit iffy, but it is worth it. I had to try the Karekare, and it did not disappoint. It reminded me of my ninang's cooking back in California. The restaurant is nice and clean, and the wait staff definitely know what they are talking about.Parking: Very small parking lot, maybe about 10 or so spots in the actual lot, with a couple of extra spots on the side. Be careful not to park in the adjacent apartment complex.“
“I’ve been going here since high school almost 20 years ago. The lumpia is crazy good! Not only is the Filipino food here delicious, the man and woman who run this place are very sweet. I definitely recommend checking out this hidden gem.“
“We enjoyed the take out lumpia and pansit with our family. While all was tasty; it turned out that the pansit was the big biggest hit. Thank you Lumpia House. BTW: The accompanying picture is of soup I enjoyed while waiting for my take-out, and the soup was excellent.“
