Have been here many times. I'm sorry to say that for the first time it was a real disappointment. My child got a side of grits that turned out to be a larger portion than what my wife got in her shrimp and grits. That dish was mostly pickled vegetables, and she said the broth was sour. My pork chop was mostly fat, not at all worth the $36 we paid. The gimlet was great, the only standout. I must say that after spending $150 here, what we got for that much makes us very wary of coming again.

Delicious food, at least one great employee (GiGi). Prices too high and too many rules, so I won't go back. Too bad though because is WAS delicious.

Prices are a little higher than most place's and would like a little more diversity for the Christians I heard people cussing.

First time visiting since Covid. Prior to Covid it was pretty good, now not so much. The menu is small and felt odd. The prices seemed high for what it is, a small restaurant in a strip mall. I settled on two items from the snack menu, sprouts and tots. The sprouts had very little taste with some sort of a small hard thing added that I thought I’d break a tooth on. The tots were mushy and swimming in some sort of a sauce that took away from them rather than adding a flavor. Not sure I’ll go again.

Been to Bacon Bros Greenville a few times everything has always been delicious. On our last visit we ordered the Corn beef Rubin as we have had in the past. Worst Rubin we have ever had. Tasteless, non descriptive, very little of whatever was inside the burnt toasted bread. The only item I recognized was the cheese. Told the wait staff about the meal, she offered to bring something else, said, no we would finish what was in front of us. In the past the Rubin was so thick and delicious we brought home 1/2 sandwich for another meal, not so this trip. Like I mentioned, not sure what we had. Will we go again, not sure.

This restaurant has a great reputation. I expected great food based on what I had heard. It was good! Not great, but satisfying. The environment is wonderful, and the wait staff wonderful. I was a little disappointed in the food, but it's worth another try. Update: I wrote the above review and gave 4 stars several years ago. I ordered something that they don't serve all the time. I've been numerous times since then, and I love it. The shrimp and grits are the best in town, and their Bloody Maries are wonderderful. I changed the rating to a 5.

Somewhat over-rated.So we ate here during the lunch menu time frame. There's good selection from the menu as far as dinner plates, sandwiches, salads, etc.The only reasonably price appetizer as far as I'm concerned was the fresh made pork rinds which were quite good. I personally would have preferred the seasoning to have a tad bit more sugar and salt in it and maybe a little less cayenne pepper, if it's going to be dusted so heavily. However, I'm sure the pork rinds are perfectly paired with a sweeter beer, wine, or mixed drink. They were still pretty amazing. My husband got the biggest burger on the menu with the duck egg, bacon, and bacon jelly added on... Which he proceeded to devour. The twice-baked french fries were perfectly salted, flavorful, and crispy.I got the buffalo chicken sandwich which sounded good in theory. I found the sandwich to be overwhelmed with flavors, between the very potent pickles and whatever else they put in the hot sauce it was like an explosion of flavor in my mouth but not in a good way.Overall the portion sizes were quite large I'd say a good value for the money, I would just probably highly recommend avoiding the buffalo chicken sandwich unless you're the kind of person who piles everything in front of you on the Thanksgiving table into a pile and drowns it in gravy... Because that's pretty much the experience of the buffalo chicken sandwich. For that I give it 4 stars.

We had been wanting to try this place for some time. Our experience started out bad when our waitperson brought our main course before our appetizer. We asked her to take it back as we wanted the appetizer first. She said the tickets got mixed up and the sampler plates just come out very quick. Not our problem. The pimento cheese was bland except for the bacon jam. The brisket was a pile of gristle/fat. With so many other restaurant options, we'll be going elsewhere.

I was not a fan and my kids were not either. We had the tots and pimento cheese appetizer. I did not care for either. I thought the tots were actual tater tots with barbecue on them but they were pork in the shape of a tot and had a weird texture. The BBQ sauce was good. I got Shrimp and Grits, they were ok but not for the price. It only had 6 shrimp on it and surprisingly no bacon. My son got a burger and it was ok. My daughter got a pork sandwich and it was ok. Not worth the hype or the price in my opinion. Service was good.

Visited for lunch yesterday. Had sampler, fries, Mac and cheese. Fries were very good, Mac was good, ribs were ok, brisket dry but eatable with lots of sauce. Pulled pork so dry not even lots of sauce made it eatable. Took chicken leg home. Knew it was pricey, but expected good BBQ. Would not recommend. Have to be better BBQ in Greenville, SC

I had the burger, the bun was quite stale, the onions (what few there were) were sauteed(not fried like the menu said) and the fries should have spent more time in the fryer and less time under a heat lamp. I expected a good meal for $17 but was sorely disappointed. I won't be back.?

We went there last night because of the great reviews. Disappointed is how I would sum it up. We ordered the BBQ sampler. The chicken leg was so undercooked and tough. The ribs were good, but make sure you like a strong smoke flavor if you order. Beer was $10.50 each.

No fried chicken here. Our entire meal was overcooked, dry hamburger and buffali chicken was cooked too hot so overcooked on outside. Question doneness on onside.

We have been wanting to try this place for sometime and we are happy we gave them a chance. I try not to mention slow service because everyone is short-staffed but we did have an issue with the food not matching the menu and some items (like fries) having no seasoning. The deviled eggs were great.
