I always like Joy of Tokyo. They have a great taste n sushi ? I thought I'd rated this place years ago but hey I'll do it again. Nice portions with the steak cook how I like. They did a great job with service as well. There's never a bad time for joy of Tokyo so stop in and check it out. They have other locations to.
Steak and scallops were cooked nicely, medium rare as I asked. Nothing overcooked which can be difficult with scallops. Both were nice and tender.Portion was ok, on the smaller side & rice could have been fresher. Cashier was neutral on the personality scale. Interior really could use an update. A few of the booth seats were torn and uncomfortable looking but plenty of seating to choose from. Overall, I'd return for a quick tasty bite.$$ wise- overpriced for what you get.

The food was good. Steak was cooked the way we ordered. My kids loved the miso soup and sushi. The chicken was good as well. The only issue I had was that the fried calamari was awful, very overcooked. I tried a piece before I left the parking lot, and it replicated a rubber band when the batter was gone. I took it back, and they refunded the calamari. I really did appreciate that. Overall, it's really good. Just don't order the calamari.
