“We spent another lovely late afternoon enjoying the sights, smell and sound of the Reedy River at Spirit & Bower. Our server, Josh M was fantastic and accommodated our special requests without hesitation. The charcuterie was small but delicious and our cocktails (margarita and mule) were top notch. We highly recommend spending a sunny afternoon over a cocktail here … and if you get the opportunity to be served by Josh you’ll enjoy it even more!“

“A group of friends and I came here from Asheville before seeing Clue the play and were all very impressed. I don’t think there was a single negative I could think of during our visit, other than we didn’t have enough room to try more of their food. The fried goat cheese was SO good with the vanilla honey on it. We also got the Brussels sprouts and the full charcuterie board. I personally got the duck with gnocchi and it practically melted in my mouth. We finished off with espresso martinis for dessert, or at least we thought so until the kind server brought us a free dessert to share ❤️ really impressed by the view and ambience of this place. The service was attentive and personable (sorry I don’t remember his name but it was on 4/17/24). I will be back next time I’m in Greenville!“

“The one bartender is God awful. Horrible person and horrible person skills. Have worked in restaurants over 20 years including bar and kitchen manager experience and all he had was excuses on why it took so long which was over an hour for 2 dishes Didn't check on us other than maybe once and to tell us down a server. Until we walked out over an hour into service was when he immediately cared and proceeded to follow us and tell us many cuss words and came at my husband. he didn't care about anything super disrespectful and awful experience. Wow youre down a server sorry not our problem and not a reason for horrible service“

“Visited to attend a poetry slam. I didn't eat anything but the drinks were good. Try the peppermint paddy. Cozy environment upstairs for lounging, reading or studying. The room downstairs used for poetry readings is smaller, seats about 30?! There is no barrier to block outside conversations which could disturb the listening experience.“

“Truly in a class of their own. Incredibly knowledgeable crew and always willing to talk about the cocktail for those curious about learning more and understanding the nuances of their wonderful creations.Try a classic or a house cocktail. Don’t see something you fancy, chat with the bartender and they’ve always been happy to offer a suggestion or curate something for you.Don’t forget to get a bite to eat. The cocktails may be the main draw but the kitchen is also staffed with incredible talent.Definitely get a reservation if you plan on going after 6:30, it’s an intimate setting and seating is limited.“

“We had a phenomenally wonderful time at Maestro. First, the food: truly excellent. The fois gras may be the best thing I've ever eaten in my life. The she crab soup was great. I also really liked the Teres Major. I doubt you could go wrong with anything on the menu. The service: I got a personal tour from Forrest of the speakeasy next door, which looks like a blast. But the evening just got better. Patrick doubled as our bartender and server. His fantastic personality made an enjoyable evening into an experience we'll always remember. Our daughter was unwell and he managed to get food for her even though the kitchen was closing. When Patrick was busy, Nathan made sure we had everything we needed.Come for the food, stay for the unbelievable service.“

“This was by far the best wine tasting experience we’ve had. The owner Ben did an amazing job of teaching us about all the wines we had and wines overall. He also kept us laughing and entertained. The bartender Bella is the absolute sweetest person. I highly recommend them for any kind of wine tasting, as well as a place to just chill out and have a good drink in a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back“

“We arrived a few minutes early and we were promptly seated. We had a nice table for 2. Water and menus were presented. We placed our order and it came out in 5 minutes or so! Food was fantastic. We decided to order dessert and it was outstanding as well. We were able to take our time and no one rushed or pushed us. This is a great venue for before a performance at the Peace Center. The Righteous Brothers concert was a blast! Thanks Genevieve's and Peace Center for making a very special night for a couple that grew up with the Righteous Brothers (yea, we are a little older!!) .“

“Bar is located on the 4th floor of the Aloft hotel. The bar staff is excellent and make quality drinks. They have various DJs that play there on Fridays and Saturdays. “This is one of my favorite restaurants in Greenville, and for good reason. Everyone who works there, from the hostess to the servers to the bartenders care deeply for their clients, and it's very obvious. On top of that the chef is a master at creating fantastic dishes, and has an incredibly talented team. There's not a single thing on the menu that I wouldn't recommend. We ate so much we could hardly move! We visited during the Women's SEC Championships, and Friday nights feature live music, so the place was packed, but the staff was all very much on top of things and didn't even look stressed (which is so important to the vibe in any restaurant). We never waited long on drinks from the bar or water refills, and the timing of our food coming out / table being bussed was seamless. Even with a packed house, we could all easily hear our conversation without feeling like we had to speak too loudly. The layout of the restaurant is excellent for creating intimate gathering spaces. I know the rest of my party felt the same, and we will all come back many more times to enjoy Oak & Honey!“

“We came for happy hour. Half off wine and whiskys (that are under $20). Service was very friendly. Ambiance was nice, but the men's restroom is a bit of a mess (at the time of posting, there was graffiti on the wall and the faucet was ripped out of the sink). It was chilly yesterday, but there is outside seating. I am sure that this place is hopping when it's nice outside. Cool spot to check out in DT Greenville.“

“The place is very nice, but they lack more customer service, I arrived I did not have an adequate welcome, for the kind of restaurant it is, I think that part is a little bad, the presentation of the food was very good, I liked it, for me palate a little salty, the wine was perfect, the brownie hmm too dry... but hey, a good price, I even asked for coffee, I don't think they offer it, but I understand. In short, the place is nice, maybe I will return but to drink wine.“
