So, texas native here. I grew up with shipleys donuts, and I'd been craving one for months. We went back to Texas for a visit but never got my donut, so I persuaded my husband to drive 3 hours to the nearest shipleys. It was wonderful. It hit the spot, and now I have what's left of a dozen donuts and 3 kolaches to keep me happy for a while.
Shipley was celebrating their 2 year mark in greenwood sc. So, they put a dozen donuts on sale for 2 dollars. Limited 2 dozen per customer.so i got 24 donuts for 4 bucks you can't beat that deal in todays market. The fact that it was Shipley donuts witch for me personally is better than Krispy Kream. And i love Krispy Kream, but Shipley is here at home, and to me, it is just better. The only thing I need now is like a hot and ready sign. Best donuts in greenwood.
