“First time eating here, and I'd give more than 5 stars if I could!! This place is a hidden gem! Food is exemplary, and the atmosphere relaxed. Came in for a late lunch, and I got the Potato Soup as an appetizer, & Platinum Shrimp Pasta with breadstick as my entree. My husband got the Walkerwood Chicken. First of all, the potato soup was the best I've ever had! The pasta in my entree was perfectly cooked, and flavors well balanced, with plenty of shrimp & veggies in each bite. I tried my husband's chicken as well, and having tasted Jerk chicken prepared by someone from Jamaica, let me say it was spot on!! I'll be having that next time lol!! I also got the Brownie a la mode for dessert, and it was delicious!! Brownie was fudgy & moist-excellent flavor! I almost forgot to mention my favorite thing...the breadstick that I got with my pasta was exceptional...and I don't normally waste time with bread lol. However, this had such a wonderful flavor & texture...crisp exterior, & super soft interior...I could make a meal off of just those!!! “The salsa was a little blended too well and too spicy. I prefer a little milder and chunky. Fajitas, steak, chicken, and ? were delicious, tender meat, along with the rice and beans. Some places have a sour cream which goes well. The drinks were good as well. Chocolate cheese cake was good. Service was outstanding and attentive. Great place to eat ?“
“Great tasting comfort food at a reasonable price. Customer service was amazing, the owner cares about his customers and makes sure they feel welcome and are enjoying themselves. He even gave one of the people in our group a small sample plate for free when he noticed that our co-worker wasn’t going to order anything. If you’re looking for a hole in the wall owner operated restaurant with good food, this is your spot. Amazing food and a cool local spot to get a quick bit for lunch. Beware portions are large!“
“My oxtails were tender & very good! I went when they first opened & was going to order curry goat but they didn’t have it ready. I also liked the plantains & the cabbage! Food is a little pricey just like a lot of places but very good! I’ll be back!“
“I ordered from them and I messed up my order.While I wasn't able to get them in time to change the order, I must commend them on not just the food but on the customer service.I had called back and had to hang up.Sierra, the wonderful human bei g whom answered the phone originally, had to place me on hold. I wound up hanging up as I realized I called the wrong place: well I thought.While I did call the correct location, it was a simple.misunderstanding.What she did next is what every customer service industry she do and learn from Sierra.She not only went back to caller I.D. to call me back, she apologized for the mishap.Fact is, this society has a serious detriment in terms of service and accountability. I can wholeheartedly attest to that wholesome accountability of herself and the unnecessary apologetic attitude from Sierra.Well done. I hope your employer sees the value in your hard work and responsibility as well as accountability.Great job!“
