We walked to our table to be seated. On the way to our table, I smelled a mildew smell and then a terrible odor that was a chemical like smell. 2 others in our party smelled the same. We all decided to leave and did not eat dinner at this establishment.

Delicious food. The apps of calamari and mussels were wonderful and a great price. Linguine and clam sauce was delicious and loaded with clams. Great prices and great service. Wished we lived near here so we could keep coming back!

We come to Hilton Head around 8 times a year and eat out most nights. We vary where we eat with one exception - Il Carpacio! We eat here every time we are on the island. Great food and service and prices. They will also make changes to the meals at your request. For example I always order Spaghetti Pirata which is spaghetti with chopped clams mussels and shrimp in a red sauce. I always ask for penne pasta and white wine sauce and it is never a problem and served just how I like it..As long as they have the ingredients they will basically prepare your pasta anyway you like it.

Great Italian restaurant. Everything on the menu seems great. I had the fried calamari and gnocchi in a spicy tomato sauce, both were great. The portions are quite big and the food came out fast. I’d definitely come back again.

I would definitely return to Il Carpaccio again! The food was delicious. I had the Gnocchi Al Pomodoro E Gorgonzola and my partner had a pepperoni pizza. We shared a calamari appetizer. The salads, bread, appetizer, and entrees were all fantastic. And the server was very attentive.Vegetarian options: The gnocchi was vegetarian and I'm fairly sure there were some other veggie options on the menu. You can get a no meat pizza.

Amazing food. Reasonable price. I’ve seen other reviews slamming the service. I get you won’t get the warm fuzzy feeling from the wait staff like you would at a corporate food chain restaurant. So what!? The food is incredible. Just got back from Italy. Food here is better. Pizza was great. Pasta delicious.
