“A nice little coffee shop. I love that they have everything from danish and treats to breakfast food. I got the bagel with egg and bacon today. It was tasty. They have good coffee as well. The girls have even made me a chocolate sundae as well when I was craving icecream. Good job on the customer service. The only advice I would say is to make sure the staff does not rush you out right at close. This has happened to us a few times and it doesn’t make you feel as welcome coming in Later.“

“Wow absolutely amazing place! I think these were the best donuts I have ever had! And I have had a lot of donuts! The service was fast and friendly. The donuts were very soft and fresh and it didn't have the overwhelming fried taste like some donuts places have. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Donuts are sooo very delishous! “I can’t believe how good this place was. The vibe, the welcoming and smiling staff, the food … all totally on point. The coffees- we tried hot and cold- were each THE BEST we’ve had in Charlotte…no contest. No paper cups here if you eat in… coffee only as it should be served: in real mugs on saucers with decorative art in the foam that holds while you drink it. The bahn mi sandwich was light and tasty like it should be- loved the bulgogi one. The bread was beyond anything I’ve found locally. I can’t say enough to express my delight with this place… a hidden gem in Matthews that you NEED to experience!!?“

We ordered a chocolate cake (tuxedo) but were given a vanilla salted caramel cake. We are all so disappointed when we checked at home. I love the play on the name Sunflour: indicating everything is baked in house. The fact that they had lots of Vegan options for me and even more options for my family was amazing. I of course got the Lavender 5 shots Latte with Oat Milk and it was probably one of the best cups I’ve ever had. You could actually smell the lavender. The foam was perfect and the cup was just delightful delicious. I also bought 4 cupcakes ( 2 red velvet, 1 lemon & 1 pistachio) they didn’t even make it home the kids ate them up. I was told they were finger licking good. I also purchased 2 vegan scones, 1 cheddar & chive biscuits & 1 cinnamon roll. I think I paid $40 for 8 bakery items & 2 lattes. I stopped by late night to buy a cake because I didnt realize they were all pretty much made to order. Rather than Sharon sending me off to place an order online and return another day, she quickly prepared one of her extra cakes so I won't return home cakeless.
