“I'd heard good things about their menu and decided to take my teens for dinner since other plans fell through. The bar was full when we arrived a little after 7, we took 2 tables near the bar, no hostess or server. A bartender came over to take our order, sweet tea was unsweetened, replaced with soda. Several employees (I assume bc the owner was passing out tax documents to them) seemed to be hanging at the bar, not sure if they were on the clock or not... took over an hour for food to arrive, many to go orders ahead of us apparently. Appetizer came out with the meal (personal pet peeve), but everything except for one sandwich was hot and fresh. Loved the app sampler and fries, my drink was well made and strong, however I really wanted the food to be better. Mac and cheese looked amazing, but there was a strange flavor that kind of got caught in your throat, wraps were ok, limp lettuce too much dressing. Atmosphere was fun, good music, lots of games, I'll definitely come back just for drinks with the adults. I wish they'd had one dedicated server for the night (although I understand it was a quiet Tuesday) to lend a hand running food and whatnot. Full disclosure, the owner is kinda sorta family (lol divorced his nephew), so I wanted to love it but felt meh instead.“
“The swordfish was phenomenal! And I am not known for raving over food. The portions are not huge, but that means I didn't leave feeling stuffed. If I'd left right then I would've been thrilled, but I had the turtle cheesecake for dessert and it was at best okay. I would've preferred to have left with the memory of the swordfish. But the service was good. 2 people for dinner was $100 so it's not the cheapest option out there, but I would - and will - go back.Parking: Limited street parking but there is a free public parking garage across the street“
“This is the newest restaurant in the St.Andrews/Irmo area. Great location easy to find .The food is outstanding!Very versatile menu. I love the fact that they cater to pescatarians vegetarian's and meat eaters. With my Pescatarian.lifestyle it's hard to find restaurants that have has items on the menu .The shrimp baskets, shrimp tacos on tues and Thursdays, Salmon and grits or shrimp and grits for brunch on Sunday. Crabs on Working Women Wednesdays & Veggie burgers. Plus meat options for those that eat meat . Check their menu.Im excited to eat there at least once or twice a week.It feels like you're at a beach Retreat very relaxed ... They also have a volleyball court and an outside bar , pool tables and games inside the restaurant. The owner and staff are super friendly. My new favorite place to eat. Go check it out for yourself you won't be disappointed.“
“Awesome spot. Wish there was a place like this in my area. Nice little spot with a bar and a dozen or so tables at the corner of a shopping plaza. Modern, clean and inviting. Super menu with dishes you just don't see everywhere. Portions are worth the price, beer is cold and the staff is friendly and efficient. Recommend the butter chicken and whatever they do with their friend chicken should be a star dish not a salad add on. Highly recommend.“
“This is a high quality LONG STANDING neighborhood pub that is great for all occasions! I've been an 18 year friend and customer and can't say enough about owner Becki Stallings. She pours her heart and tireless efforts into our little place we are so blessed to have to go to relax, unwind, laugh, catch up, game watch, music listen, grab a bite to eat, play pool and so much more!!“
“Diablo's is a place anyone can enjoy! I have been on keto for over a year, and this is my favorite place. Everything is fresh, not over spicey, and you can see the meat cooking when you walk into the restaurant. The chicken is so good, I will order a quart of the meat to bring home and eat for lunch the next day. The manager Kevin, is always welcoming guests and keeping his employees happy. Never to I see a grumpy employee.“
“Stopped in for a quick lunch and some beer. This place had plenty of beers with a variety of different styles. The food menu had decent options from appetizers to main dishes. We opted for a few beers and a large pretzel with cheese. Wife thought the cheese could have been a thicker consistency but had good flavor!“

“I always wish I could give 1/2 stars because some things are not worth the full star, but this will do. My husband and I enjoyed our experience. It was our first time eating here. It is a bit pricey so if you're on a budget I don't recommend going or only go for special occasions. We enjoyed our drinks and the cheese board. My husband got quail and waffles, which he loved. I got the bbq plate with ribs. I liked the bbq, but the ribs are smoked, and that's not my thing. Also, the mustard bbq sauce they put on it is a bit spicy, and I'm not one to eat a lot of spicy stuff. I am gluten-free, and I had contracted them beforehand about their options, which they have. I told the waiter I was gluten-free, and that is an allergy, but I was still served 2 rolls on my plate. I just removed the rolls and didn't make a big deal about it, but the waiter didn't even recognize the error when he came and checked on us. We also had the strawberry ice cream for dessert. You are quite packed into the place, so people sit very close to you, making for a not so intimate atmosphere. We overall enjoyed our experience and will probably go back in the future.“
“My wife and I were invited here by some dear friends for dinner. The experience was amazing! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was delicious, and the portions were decent. Service was prompt and courteous. I plan to make this a regular stop in the future.“
“We are regulars at least once a week . Justin and the staff continue to amaze us with new delicious dishes and drink offerings . I only eat fish and understand the challenges it can present preparing but the fish is always fantastic even though I'm dining at a steak house . We have never had a bad meal there since the opening . I encourage all to take a trip slightly off the beaten path for a wonderful dining experience.“
“I’m not sure what took us this long to dine here but I’m glad we did! This restaurant has definitely made an impression and will easily be our Mexican restaurant ?. We arrived with a full appetite and left full.We ate dinner before 5:00pm so there was no crowd. We were seated immediately and they brought us chips and bean dip. The 1st two orders are on the house. In addition we ordered chile con queso and chicken nachos! We devoured that in minutes and it was delicious ?.I ordered the 12oz ribeye con hongos and a large frozen mango margarita. It was delicious and well worth it. The kiddos had bacon wrapped shrimp with rice and loved the flavors. To end the night we shared the churros.I highly recommend them and will be back soon!Parking: Open free parking lot.Kid-friendliness: They offer a kids menu and the atmosphere was calm on a Saturday to bring the kids before 5pm.“
“This is my first time here, and this has to be the best bar I’ve been to anywhere. The vibe is so chill and mature. Ladies it definitely gives off vibes you can come here alone (drink responsibly) or just in pairs. The drinks are straight fire. Gin and sprite was my drink of choice I am a happy camper. Thumbs all the way up!!!!“
“The Dragon Room has not only done wonders for the Vista, but for me. This is exactly what the area needed and I can honestly say that I really hope this place sticks around for a very long time! Excellent dumplings (gyoza) (every flavor to be exact), ramen, and fabulous cocktails! Service is fabulous every time! Shoutout to Rebecca Hardee she is top tier and super knowledgeable of the menu, and id 100% request her to be in charge of ur table!“
“so I wrote a review recently and I’m not sure who I spoke with prior to my review but I’m very pleased that the owner is the same guy along with him helping me with my complaint. The food is great as usual. Thank you for how you personally handled that!“
“I am a repeat offender here and that is sayin somethin! The burgers are juicy, loaded and eccentric. I highly recommend the sweet potato fries with Parmesan and chives! All of their fry variations are delicious and crispy and reheat very well! All of their burgers are amazing and they don’t skip out on toppings. The el gringo is my fave, and the hot mess never disappoints! If you’re feeling extra, the rancheros Fritos are Devine!“
“A friendly, eclectic, and interesting clientele, ranging from ex-athletes; business owners; alluring femme fatales; showbiz folks; rich guys; and down-to-earth, pretty pool playing gals. There's a surprisingly wide libation selection for an establishment that has probably the best prices in the Columbia, SC area. I enjoy the wine and occasionally a Guinness! The bar "maids" provide a "room with a view" and always look out for regulars and new patrons alike. Restrooms are clean, the area safe, close parking is plentiful, five sports tv screens, free wifi, and the jukebox is just right. Sometimes there's comedy or live music or a dj. Try it... you'll like it!“
