My beautiful and intelligent fiancee, Wendy, and I absolutely love The Tuna. We sing and dance to the amazing Linda Love and Joe every Sunday. It's an amazing place to go and a wonderful experience as well. I have invited family and friends, and they were completely satisfied with the food, wait staff, and tasty specialty drinks. Thank you, everyone, for making Thw Tuna a very special place for my Wendy and I.

Customer reply to owner’s reply:I was expecting around $25 since it was supposedly your “special”…….outback’s 16oz strip is $29 (see pic) and Big Tuna isn’t anywhere close to being in Outback’s league…..Wife and I went last night, food was good but we weren’t expecting the “special” 16oz New York strip steak I ate to be $49.99 …… Holy moly…… I’ll just go to Ruth’s Chris next time!! | | Big Tuna (Owner)7 hours agoFirst let me apologize for not meeting your expectations! I'm not sure what you were expecting the price to be on a 16oz New York Strip but I just pulled it up at Ruth Chris and it's $62 for just the steak! I am truly sorry that you got sticker shock when your bill came but my steak are priced to only be a 50% food cost item and had you asked my server I am sure she would have gladly told you the price. Other than the price how was your experience?

We went there to see a band, Going Commando. It's a small venue. They had only 2 bartenders. Very crowded and long waits for drinks. The bathrooms very filthy. Limited staff, so I guess there was no one to check on the bathrooms over a four hour time span.Parking: Very crowded and limited parking.

This was our first time visiting the restaurant since we were traveling from out of state. We went there on Christmas day and the service was excellent even though it was a small crew. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was great, will definitely come again! The New York Strip rub was phenomenal and the Ribs were cooked to perfection!

While looking for a restaurant for my husband's surprise 50th birthday party, I had the good fortune to run across this place and the owner, Jeff, was so accommodating. He even ended up being our server after the waitress didn't show for her shift, but it turned out lovely! He was able to give us great recommendations that suited each person. The sweetest one was when my daughter-in-law was struggling to decide, so he told her, "Just close your eyes... now think of sitting at your favorite place and eating your favorite food. What is it?" and he found the perfect dish for her. I've never seen a server (or owner) be that attentive. The private room has beautifully finished wood across the ceiling & walls, a private bar (which we didn't utilize, but would be great for larger gatherings) and opens up a covered outdoor patio with a large patio heater for those chilly days. Plus, the guests come & go through a private entrance, instead of through the main restaurant. The kids & young adults enjoyed the small assortment of arcade games and pool table, as the adults finished their delicious meals. I highly recommend the Baja Chicken, twice cooked wings and cheesy fries, but everything was extremely good! My stepmother-in-law didn't care for the sauce she selected for her Tri Tip steak, so Jeff got her a different sauce (BBQ) which she liked. I ordered a cake from our favorite bakery and dropped it off the day before. They kept it refrigerated for me until it was time for the "big reveal" and even gave us paper plates for serving, after I forgot to bring some. They really saved the day! I was beyond grateful. This was our first time even eating here, and my husband is already making plans to return. Thank you, Jeff, for making this a memorable birthday! **I almost forgot- they also offer a variety of options for paying. There's a QR code on each receipt that's easy to scan using iPhone or Android devices to pay using your phone, so no waiting around if you're in a hurry! We weren't in a rush, but quite a few paid that way, because we were curious since none of us had seen it before. The servers also use electronic devices. He typed in each order and sent it to the kitchen without having to leave the table. Adding something to the order was just as effortless and there was no confusion at the end of the meal (which has been an issue at other places with large groups with split checks).

My friend and I rode our bikes up, seeking a new place for our "lunch runs." We found this nice restaurant on back roads near Lake Murray where the owner was very friendly and the atmosphere to our liking. It is spacious with outdoor dining and a nice bar area to watch games on TV. They even have motorcycle parking out front. The food is definitely Southwestern Mex and tasty. I had the enchilada soup that was thick and just spicy enough to be interesting, but not to tear you stomach up. The cabbage salad is a more healthy take on Cole slaw using raspberry vinaigrette. My friend enjoyed her steak chili. We will return here for sure. It's a nice ride up over some picturesque roads too.

The salmon was amazing. I usually do not like anything cooked on wood but I loved this. The sweet potato fries with the honey was delish.

Went for dinner at 6pm. We were the only table in the restaurant. For our group of 10, dinners came out one at a time over a half hour. A couple orders were wrong and the steak sandwiches were too tough to enjoy. We have been there several times and have tolerated the poor service bc it's quiet, good for groups and good wings but we are done going there. It's ridiculous that an entire table doesn't get their food at the same time. Very uncomfortable.
