We absolutely loved everything that we ordered. The food is so fresh, authentic, and delicious. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. BEST Mexican restaurant we've been to in Lexington. We will definitely be back regularly.
El Amanecer is the best Mexican food we’ve had in Irmo, Columbia and Lexington. We are from Arizona so the bar is high. This is not your typical Tex Mex found on the west coast. It’s also not your typical bland, drenched in cheese sauce you find here in the Irmo, Columbia, and Lexington areas. This is flavorful, made from scratch with great pride. You can taste the love. I was totally surprised that the food tasted so good. It was so different from the American Mexican food that I had in the past. We will definitely continue to visit regularly and bring more friends. I would request that they add Dos Equis Amber to the beer list. Maybe cut back some on the distractions and TV programs also. The staff was fantastic and genuinely friendly and extremely hospitable. We loved it!
