Horrible, horrible, horrible "service." I will never ever go back to the Lexington, SC Captain D's. I waited 30 minutes for food because I was stupid enough to walk in instead of using the drive-thru. Stay away from ordering inside. Manager and saff were horrible. Made illogical excuses for why me another customer had to wait while drive-thru customer after customer was served before us. Shameful serviceShockingly Captain D's forwarded my official comment and contact information back to this horrendous location in Lexington, SC. I told the corporate office that surely they are inept enough to think the "manager," who caused the problem to fix it. I told them if they ever give my personal information to anyone outside of their corporation I would get an attorney and sue them.

Haven’t been to Captain D’s in forever and was so excited to go. I will never go back again. It was prime lunch time on a Saturday an hardly anyone there. We went to order and the lady that took our order seemed under the influence of something and it was very confusing. We ordered one drink and she charged us for two (we just didn’t even say anything) lt took her about 15 minutes to explain that they were out of tartar sauce. We received our food that was not good at all. We had to eat while the same lady screamed on her cell phone the entire time. $35 later we left hungry. The whole experience was uncomfortable at best.

The overall experience was awfulThe wait for the food was long, and when we got our food, it was cold and overcooked the restaurant was also dirty none of the tables were clean, and the restroom was not clean .from my experience and seeing all these 1 star reviews the owner needs to step up and be in the location more, and management needs to be retrained so employees are trained properly.

Came in and had to watch a worker sit in the corner on her phone fanning herself for 5 minutes before she even tried to help, no one else in store, not busy, she never came to take my order (just a doordash), so i went through the drive through, to where she finally acknowledged my existence and said the order wasn’t ready yet. Ended up having to drop the order and lose money because they took too long and were blatantly rude.

Waiting in line to place order, then waiting to get food, even tho 3 cars were waiting in front of me, it was over 15 minutes total. The fish was fresh n hot, the hush puppies and fries were like mildly warm at best, and the "if we don't offer" which they DID NOT, the 5 butterfly shrimp were COLD, like from yesterday left over cold. I was back out in traffic before I knew.Was the 1st time at Captain D's, and will not repeat. 11 bucks for crud....not impressed in any way

I ordered the fish and shrimp for 5.99 and the fish was so tiny that I was in shock when the cashier bought it to me. I asked her what happened with the fish and she said that's the way they came in. I said it looks like they would add one more piece of fish to make up part of difference for customer satisfaction and she said we can't do that. I politely said and I didn't want it, but my husband said don't worry about it let's stay. I stayed only because he paid for it. Common sense should have told the manager to advise them to add another piece. Never again ?
