“Thank God for blessing my home town of Little Mountain with an excellent restaurant! I love German food and this place is the best I’ve found around. The food I got was quick and delicious! Oh, praise God for you. I have been to another one far out in Columbia and the food did not have much flavor. The food at Elizabeth’s is excellent! I will be back often!”
“Decent burger, a little spendy, but yummy. Chill, laidback atmosphere with a nice outdoor seating area for spring and summer. They brought my dog water which was very appreciated.”
“This was our first stop coming from Chicago IL. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food tastes great and was plentiful. The atmosphere was relaxed. 10/10. Will definitely be going back.”
“The staff is always friendly and the beer rotations are nice. It'd be great if they had a little more consistency on having a light beer, as in flavor. The food trucks are fun and outdoor seating is nice but really needs some TLC and repairs.”
“Food is always excellent, however I had to send my loaded potatos back because they were warm at best.Service wasn't as quick as we're used to, but we will return.”
“Not your average sandwich shop. Great food. They have so many options and they are all delicious. Do not skip the Lemon Bar - they are wonderful and I love them. . Service is always great. Cafe vibe with seating or you can take it to go.”
“I was surprised they were offering a chicken habachi lunch meal. I was hungry so I ordered it. It could have had a little more flavor, garlic maybe. It was fresh and good.”
“Great little stop, off the beaten path..maybe ? Worth the stop. Great burger and chicken sandwich. Fries were very tasty. Staff was helpful and there when you needed them but did not hover. Definitely adding it to our "Stop by again " ”
“I ordered a turkey and provolone on a croissant. I just didn't expect it to come flat like it was grilled. The taste was fine but a little greasy. It would have been better just warmed like to in a toaster oven. I will try it again though. They had several sides along with chips so you should find something to suit there. Lots of desserts which all looked wonderful!”
“I had just finished an outreach project in Chapin for Chapin Baptist church and a brother told Mr how delicious their hot dogs are. Though I try to avoid nitrates. The 2 dogs I ordered were one of the best fast foods I put in my mouth. Service was awesome and expedient and if you have to wait a minute or two, it is worth it. Keep up the great work guys. Peace.”
“My family and I came here on a recommendation and it did not disappoint. The salsa and chips were fresh and you could taste a hint of lime. We each ordered something different and each meal was devoured. I had the fish tacos, tortilla was thin and lightly grilled, the fish beautifully seasoned and served with fresh onions, cilantro, and limes. Robbie had the Chili Verde which was pulled pork in a tomatillo salsa served with rice and beans. Chicken was moist in the burrito and the quesadilla, the food was hot and the beers cold. Inside seating is large and spacious and the deck is a great place to hang out and watch the water. We definitely will be coming back!Vegetarian options: Like most American places they can make anything vegetarian by substituting grilled veggies and/or beans & cheese.Parking: Plenty of parking on all sides of the restaurantKid-friendliness: Lots of children inside and out having fun and able to be loud and not disturb anyone.”
“Such a cool place bringing together two things that I absolutely love: warm cup of coffee and books! The ambience is great, good coffee and good selection of pastries too.”
“Great food. This is buffet only, they had a nice selection of veggies, and A nice selection of meet. And they even had a couple of options for desert. It was a small restaurant, but well, maintained. You could tell by the conversations going on that this is a favorite of the locals.”
“This restaurant is amazing. I'm a South Carolina native who just moved from Charleston to Irmo, and this is hands down the best shrimp and grits I've ever had at a restaurant! The grits are creamy and delicious, the andouille was just the right kind of spicy, and the shrimp were plump and perfectly cooked. My wife got the seafood platter, and she loved her dinner as well. Her fried fish was nice and crunchy, the way it ought to be.I do wish they had an up-to-date menu on their Facebook page, but otherwise it's a great seafood restaurant. Highly recommended!”
“Absolutely wonderful!! The food was great! The three amigos was so delicious. The chicken, steak and shrimp was very tasty and juicy. The chicken over rice meal was unbelievable and the fish Taco was awesome. This is the best Mexican restaurant in the Chapin area!!Parking: Great parking!”
“Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: We had a wonderful Easter brunch at Chapin Chop House in 2024. Our server, Angela, was excellent—knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to our needs. The three-course meal was delicious, and Angela's service made the experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, our son, Jaxton, was working that day, and we were able to take a quick picture with him, adding a personal touch to our visit. We highly recommend Chapin Chop House for a great dining experience..”
“Groucho’s Deli in Chapin always has outstanding customer service and friendly staff. Food is always great. Really appreciate having Groucho’s Deli in ChapinKid-friendliness: My 5 kids love eating Groucho’s Deli. Whether it be dine in or carry out.”
“The food was delicious. Made my morning so much better. It is a little small on the inside but very cozy. We got like 3 different meals and a bacon flight and I really could not complain about anything. Will definitely be ”
“Roma's is really hard to beat for great food and they have an outstanding variety of beer. It's in Prosperity which is a very quaint little town and when it comes to the food these people really know what they are doing. I haven't had anything that I didn't find delicious and I highly recommend their tzatziki. ?”
“This place is run well. And it beats Taco Bell in nearly every metric. The food is exactly what would want from a Mexican restaurant. It’s relatively inexpensive and tastes good. The service is very quick. It took only a few minutes to get my meal during a lunch rush.”
“We went on the 2nd day of operation prepared to wait and we were pleasantly surprised! I had a reservation and we were at our table within 5 mins. Our server was fantastic and the food was great Can't wait to go back”
“Fast and convenient, both for take-out and dine-in. I love the patriotic theme of the restaurant, showing our service members how much they mean to the USA. The menu is small; mostly salad, chicken strips, and fries. This is great for not only those watching their diets, but for children as well. Love the a la carte menu and that you can buy their delicious honey butter croissants for only $1 each! Prices are reasonable- around $5 for a kid's meal gets you chicken strips, fries, and a soda. Good value for the money.”
“Friendly staff, excellent service and great atmosphere. We order pizza here now as our new go to regularly and highly recommend.Parking: Very few spots to park, and leaving is a hassle if you park in the front as you will back out straight into busy traffic.”
“First time I've eaten at this location. The West Columbia location is on point in every aspect. In Chapin, things are a little different. Service is a little slower and chicken tastes a little different. I was a little disappointed but still satisfied with my order.”
“Late brunch on a Saturday. We were in Chapin shopping and heard about their great burgers. It is a bar setting with high tables and bar stools. The bar, dining area and restrooms were all clean. There were only a few patrons when we arrived, but customers were arriving as we were finishing. We were promptly waited on and the food arrived promptly. The hamburgers were large and dressed with mayonnaise, mustard, lettuce, tomato and onions. I had wing chips and my wife had sidewinders (curly potatoes). Everything was fresh and tasty. We'll go back next time we are in Chapin.”
“This is THE BEST Waffle House in the area because the staff works very hard and they do a great job even though the management has it under staffed every time we go in there anymore. It used to have two waitresses all the time, and now with only one it is hard for one person to keep up with orders, refills, checking customers out, and getting tables cleared, but the cook and waitress always have a great attitude.”
“Everything was great, I had the salmon and the wife had the chicken Alfredo and we had enough food for another meal. The whole staff was very friendly. It’s a great place to go.”
“The Best place to get your nutritional needs taken care of. I always finish a workout in Chapin with a quick trip to see Downtown Nutrition. They have high protein (over 30 grams) and low sugar options to help recovery. They also have no crash energy drinks and teas. The drinks take wonderful and you will not be disappointed.”
“Food is always good and fresh! Never in the decade that I’ve been ordering from here have they messed up my order. Can always count on good, fresh, well portioned food and never have to worry that your order will be messed up. Absolutely love this place!”
“The drinks were "OK". There just didn't seem to be enough actual coffee. The vibe is exceptional, neat surroundings and an elegant little seating area in the back. So, in spite of the drinks just being ok, the people were nice, fast service and it's worth it to walk around and look at the unique antiques. Very different. Worth the trip just to browse at the unique items. Prices are excellent on the coffees.Parking: Parking shared with the consignment store.”
