“After an earlier review of just 3 stars, I'm now totally onboard with Spice Palette! My wife and I have ordered the Chicken Tikka several times since my original (mediocre) review last October. Each time the meal was delicious with tender chicken. This is now my favorite local restaurant so "Indian food, is the, answer."“

“First off what is in the Chai tea? There is something seriously special about it... energy awakening - It is the most authentic chai tea I've tasted in a long time. This food is flavorful, and if you ask for heat, they give the heat. I'm happy to have found a place that does not water down the recipes to cater to vanilla taste buds. The meal was perfection, and I enjoyed every bite down to my last grain of rice. There is soul in this food. The staff is lighthearted, low pressure, relaxed, helpful, but they also give you your space. I look forward to coming back often.“

“This is a cute, friendly, and intimate Pakistani restaurant in the historic area of Charleston. It has a cool and cozy vibe, with dark lighting and colorful decor. Service was very engaging and friendly, and the server was helpful in helping us pick some dishes we hadn't heard of elsewhere. The food was delicious. We'd planned to share the aubergine pakora chaat appetizer, but our night they were substituting yellow yams and kale, so we switched gears and got the masala bhel, which was fantastic - spicy and flavorful, especially with a little tamarind chutney and raita. For entrees, we had (of course) butter chicken, which was as good as any I've had anywhere, and chapli kabab, which is ground lamb patties cooked in a tandoor. My wife loved them. All in all, it's perhaps the best South Asian food in or around Charleston.“

“Very unique spot with an equally unique menu. I love the overall ambience of the restaurant, the patio/garden area is beautiful and the cocktails are amazing! Definitely one of my recommendations to my friends who visit town as it’s unlike any other restaurant in Charleston.I first went here in 2021 and have been a fan since, and I’m excited to try the new menu by Chef Damian!“
