Beware if you pay by credit card. I did, and then gave my server a cash tip which was more than 20%. I checked my bank statement the next day and saw an additional tip was added. I called them twice and they said they would refund the tip amount. That was 3 weeks ago and I still have not receive it.

This was a wonderful find! Layce was such a great server, very friendly and kind. She definitely was very attentive even though it was busy. Our food was delicious and very reasonably priced. I had a chicken with mushroom, cheese, and onions with sweet potato fries. My hubby had a fish sandwich and tots. We splurged and had Keylime pie for dessert. We tried hush puppies for the first time, too. Very tasty. The live music topped it off for a great evening. It was a fun place to stop when visiting Murrells Inlet MarshWalk.Parking: There are plenty of spots across from this restaurant.Kid-friendliness: There are places to sit outside and under the tent with the kids.

Sitting here with my wife for 25 min after being sat down by hostess. No one server came to our table .. no eye contact at all. And they want me to tip ??the servers need better training .. reflection on mamnagement…

Creek Ratz is great. Laid back, solid food, and excellent service. First, their beer is kept on ice in tubs. Big plus. The blackened Mahi was exceptional. The grits were some of the best I've had all winter. The oysters from the raw bar were very good and the prices for everything are the most reasonable on the Marshwalk. I love the atmosphere as well. Nothing real fancy, just real good.
