“On the road looking for a quick bite to eat. Intended to go to another restaurant close by, but discovered that they had discontinued their vegetarian options. I had delivered food via DoorDash from Ginza before, so the name was familiar. So glad we stopped by. I had the tofu hibachi and it was the best prepared tofu I've had in this area. Portions are generous and everything was delicious. Service was fantastic. Will definitely be coming back!“

“We have been here many, many times for hibachi or a quick sushi bite while at the mall…..and I have to give them a shout out after our lunch yesterday, especially during the holiday season when everyone is hustling and bustling around! I did not get the bartender’s name, but he really did an amazing job (happy, engaging, everything was on point…..down to making sure I had some of their delicious ginger sauce for our leftovers!), the food was beyond flavorful and fresh! And their lunch specials are an incredible deal and perfect for a holiday shopping refresh. We got their special roll lunch and a lunch bento box, shared all the things and still had enough to bring home for nibbles later on! They are fantastically consistent in service and flavor and I highly recommend!“

“Came here tonight with my fiancé about 20mins after they opened, lady at the front took our name and number said it would be about a 30-45min wait. So we go back to the car wait about 45 mins we call to ask our place in line the lady again said about 20-30mins so after waiting another 45mins we decided to just leave it was around 4:45pm when we got there it is now 9:47pm and we have still not received anything, they never called or texted us to say our table was ready. DO BETTER!!!!!“

“Perfect blend of indoor and outdoor dining. Everything was fabulous! Even our youngest food critic was totally impressed. Madison stared us in the right direction with some choices and was a great server! Food so good you had to order the dessert even though we were full! “Our family had the best experience at The Grumpy Monk at Broadway on the Beach! Dawson was excellent - we came back again two days later and requested his section…. He greeted us at our table with the same drinks we had the previous time. Wow. Now that is serving your customer! The food did not disappoint either. Fried pickle chips and the burgers and wings were amazing. We will definitely be back a third time!“

“We ate at Jimmys Habachi on Mothers day of 2026. It was GOOD! We had 2 deluxe teriyaki plates, spicy tuna roll and volcano roll. The price was great. Food was prepped in a timely manner. We will be returning next month on our next beach trip.“

“Just finished our meals, DELICIOUS!!! Loved the hibachi shrimp and scallops with veggies. That homemade hot sauce was super yummy!!! Hubby had steak and chicken teriyaki. Chicken was better than steak but both were great. Reasonable prices, great service, we'll see yall again soon! THANK YOU!!! Keep doing what you do!“
